Will the next Transformer series War for Cybertron: Seize also be just 10 minute episodes?
the 11 minute episode format is the continuation of an experiment by the looks of it from Machinima's cartoon, although the 11 minute episodes here are actually working out pretty well. A lot better than most really.
there hasn't been any word as far as I know of a War For Cybertron: Siege cartoon. This and Rescue Bots Academy are the only 2 TV series in discussion right now

Hello! Welcome to the Boards!
As said above, Siege iis not as far as we know getting a cartoon, this is a subtitle to a Collectors and Kids toyline. Although there might be some connective media down the road, of IDW releases a comic series or a short Machinoma style cartoon websries.
The 10 minite Episode format is nothing new, the Looney Tunes ran in that style decades ago. Its a format being advocated more and more by the TV channels for some reason, although I believe Cybervers is still being put out as a 22mimute block as 2 episodes. (Half hour time slot= 22. Minutes of show and 8 minutes of commercials). One of the supposed claim for the demand is to make things more consumable for kids with "short attention spans" (which I doubt) or more likely more streamable for kids on the go. Mom/Dad can pop in a 10 minute cartoon for the drive to school/BabySitter/Practice, and its over by the time they get there. Hasbro is in this case catering to their market (the tv execs buying the episodes to show) by making the 10 minute episodes channels want rather than the 22 minute episodes we are used to in the action cartoon genre.

Remember those classic 30 minute episodes were only 22 minutes without adds, so half of 22 is 11. The reason why they are 11 minutes is because CN reasons that kids are dumb, so they write to that level of competency mostly with mind numbing comedies that kids can only handle 11 minuets at a time, before their brain explodes, or they lose interest.
This unfortunately doesn't work well for Transformers, even a kid friendly version such as Cyberverse, because you can very clearly tell many of the stories are cut into 2 parts (meant to be full 22 minute episodes). Also there is a paradigm shift going on. Kids are watching media more on their mobile devices now, than actually on cable or satellite TV. Cyberverse airs only one single time per week, some ungodly time on Saturday morning before most of the world is awake, while Teen Titans Go! plays in 3-4 hour blocks!! (not kidding).
In the past this was basically a death sentence for any other decent TV show, but if enough kids watch Transformers on their devices it may get picked up for another season, if not, it will go away and be a mere footnote if anything, in animation history.

Also I'm glad I'm not the only one who wish they go to the 22 mintue mark. Some shows don't do well with the 11 mintue timeframe.

Not in CYBERVERSE if you count the magical helix of Windblade, kind of similar.

10 and 11 were awesome episodes, deserve some kind of award, episode 12 fell a bit out, and 13 I hope leads into something bigger, Maccadam's is my favorite of this series so far though.
Seeing how evil Shockwave's altered idea of Bumblebee's past was, is one of the most traumatizing things I've seen in a show for kids this young
It would be like if Rescue Bots suddenly had Batman Beyond level stuff in it.

Its usually been 4 million years. While still high, it gets more and more incredulous that the war has not ended yet. Especially in this case where the leader was presumably absent for 65 million years.

Funnily enough, the Fall of Cybertron video was almost set 65 million years ago, in an attempt to justify the altmodes of that game's Dinobots. Matt Tieger claimed in a couple of interviews for the game that it was set 65 million years ago. Thankfully, the Fall of Cybertron prequel comics and Prime Beast Hunters comics each provided an in-universe source that put the game's timeframe as being "Thousands of years ago" rather than 65 million, with the FOC comics having that Shockwave look into Earth's past for inspiration when he created the Dinobots' altmodes, and thus effectively overriding Tieger's out-of-universe claim.william-james88 wrote:ZeroWolf wrote:Isn't it always an impossibly bug number like that? I like that route, its the same used in the G1 cartoon and beast wars. what also makes no sense is that Grimlock had all that dino kibble before he landed on earth 65 m years ago. Even my daughter was confused.
Also the show keeps changing Acid Storm's gender from show to show, its annoying as fuck.
Posted by Sabrblade on December 9th, 2018 @ 10:44pm CST
Everyone in this show has their Earth kibble/vehicle modes seen on Cybertron in the flashbacks. Grimlock's just continuing the trend, barring his in-universe new altmode. I guess the animators couldn't make separate Cybertronian-bodied character models for everybody.william-james88 wrote:I like that route, its the same used in the G1 cartoon and beast wars. what also makes no sense is that Grimlock had all that dino kibble before he landed on earth 65 m years ago. Though, the G1 cartoon likewise had everyone with Earth kibble in their Cybertronian robot modes.

It really switches from one episode to the next. Would be nice if they got their shit together
Also, we know there are coneheads and we have seen them in flashbacks, so I dont know why Thrust is not a conehead in the present.

Acid Storm had the female voice (and VA) for the whole show, they didn't start using the female face 'til Siloed though.

...we finally get a TF universe with a straight-up +65 million year time gap to explain the Dinobots...all 1 of them.
Just seems long overdue, is all I'm saying.
And implies that all the searches for energon, the Ark, any Allsparks etc. really were totally blind, spanning the whole universe. Can't wait to see what all gets retconned into this huge time gap over the next 3 years or so!

I think he wants Megatron to be half dead from an accident or something, and for him to be hooked up to some creepy life support system like this
Posted by Sabrblade on December 19th, 2018 @ 9:29am CST
But, that Megatron was neither half-dead from an accident nor hooked up to life support. That was his control harness that allowed him to control all of Cybertron in full totalitarian rule, seeing and hearing everything on the planet's surface Big Brother style.Ig89ninja wrote:I think he wants Megatron to be half dead from an accident or something, and for him to be hooked up to some creepy life support system like this

I’ve head cannon it to be a bit of both, since he fell without any protection though the fury of a time vortex, which in turn damaged/aged his organic half and mentally damaged him as well, but that’s just my head cannon

He is phantomatic overall, that's his vibes.
BH Skylinx,he look squellettic but does he is really a zombie?
Some display advice:bipedial with dragon head and big hand, there's a gap beetween them and the arms sadly,i paint his eyes in dark violet but i could have choose black.

Whereas in the actual show itself, his beast mode looked wrecked because of all of his experimentations to get rid of it and its organic aspects.Ig89ninja wrote:I’ve head cannon it to be a bit of both, since he fell without any protection though the fury of a time vortex, which in turn damaged/aged his organic half and mentally damaged him as well, but that’s just my head cannon

Transformers: Cyberverse 11
Sabotage
Summary: Shockwave traps Bumblebee in a false memory designed to convince him he's a Decepticon.
Quick Thoughts: Shockwave has always been a rather underutilized villain in shows. Often on the sidelines. That is very contrasting to the comics where he has several times been an even bigger nemesis than Megatron himself. I really like the middle ground between those two extremes that this show takes. We have him as the diabolical scientist and as a looming threat but also getting his hands dirty for some immediate villainous treachery. My only problem is I think his plan was dumb, you would think someone that smart would come up with a plan that an amnesiac Bumblebee couldn't poke holes through in a matter of minutes.
Transformers: Cyberverse episode 12
Teletraan X
Summary: Windblade and Bumblebee trace an Autobot signal and find themselves lured into a trap set by Slipstream and her Seekers.
Quick Thoughts: I am not a fan of quirky characters, and that's what Teletraan X is. But hey, at least it's better than that Peter Dinklage drone from Destiny. It's cool to see the show come into it's own without relying on cool G1 fan wank flashbacks, though I find the seekers to not be that meaningful of threats. Also, while I do not care that Hasbro made Acid Storm female in this version, it gets quite frustrating to have the use a male seeker body for her.
Transformers: Cyberverse episode 13
Matrix of Leadership
Summary: Bee learns the meaning of leadership through three memories of Optimus Prime.
Quick Thoughts: Back to flashbacks, but I am not complaining. This is all the stuff a kid wants to see, Optimus being a bad ass (with no face removals). I also like seeing his Autobot light up shield since it makes it a fun gimmick kids can recreate with his toys, I am all for toy/show synergy. A fine episode but I still preferred the previous Optimus appearances.
Cyberverse episode 14
Siloed
Summary: The Seekers attempt to extract the location of the Ark from Windblade's memories.
Quick Thoughts: While the Maccadams episode is all kinds of special, I feel this might be my favourite. We get to see the show not dwell on flashbacks and focus on Windblade, a rather new character in Transformers lore. So it gives us a good look at what the show has to offer aside from all the fan oriented callbacks. And it is better WIndblade content than anything we have ever gotten in Machinima. I also love the Decepticon hierarchy and how scared the seekers are of Shockwave. The action was excellent and I love the little details, like how Windblade in jet mode has to do a slight circle to be able to escape vertically.

thats not a dig at you Will. Just something I have noticed now. 4-5 months ago before the release this series just loathed and now the first season has finished and it’s got overwhelming praise. Okay your first paragraph is a giant mess that’s makes no sense and I gave up trying to figure out. And this is from someone with dyslexia and has grammar problems himself.
As for your second. On any message board you can find people saying that as the series progressed it won them over and really got a sense of enthusiasm as the story began progressing.
