We just received word from the organisers of CybFest NW - which is taking place in Kent, WA, this August 18th - that their dealer and attendee registration for the fifth iteration of the annual event is now open! You can find out more information about CybFest on the site and below!

We would like to announce that CybFest NW 2018 will be taking place this year on August 18. Pre-registration is open now for all dealers and attendees.

The fifth annual CybFest NW Transformers convention
"Transformers fans young and old, new and long-time, come celebrate Transformers at CybFest NW"

Kent, Wa -- May 11, 2018 -- Northwest Fan Ventures is pleased to announce the fifth year of the Cybertronian Festival. CybFest NW will celebrate all things Transformers with a Pacific Northwest spin. CybFest will take place on August 18, 2018 at Kent Commons in Kent, Wa.

CybFest is a sister convention to the long-running CybCon festival that ran from 2000 - 2013. Fans of all ages will be able to experience all things Transformers, from purchasing Transformers to games, panels, and displays. Attendees and dealers canpre-register now at www.cybfestnw.com. I have been excited for months! Last year was a blast and I got so many cool figures. (The best part was seeing one of my long time internet pals in real life for the first time!) Half tempted to pre-reg but I prefer to pay at the door just in case of last minute events.

Thanks to a tip off from HighCaptSpock, we have an announcement that Brazilian artist Marcelo Matere will be attending CybFest NW 2018 as a special guest!

This freelance artist has produced packing art for a whole host of transformer products from the Unicron Trilogy to the Universe series. He's also done illustration work for the likes of Dreamwave and IDW.

We are pleased to announce that Marcelo Matere will be joining us as a special guest at CybFest NW 2018!

Marcelo Matere is a Brazilian artist currently based in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a freelance artist for Hasbro and has worked on packaging art for the Unicron Trilogy, Alternators, Crossovers, Animated, and Universe/Generations toy lines. He has drawn concept art for some toy design, including most of the Robot Heroes line. In addition to all of his work on Transformers toy lines, he has done illustration for Dreamwave, 3H, Titan Magazines, Fun Publications, and IDW Transformers comics. He also did art for the Transformers Legends mobile game and is currently working as illustrator for Transformers: Forged to Fight.

He will have a table at CybFest NW 2018 where he will be selling some of his artwork and meeting fans. Additional details regarding his appearance will be added in the weeks leading up to the show. Be sure to pre-register now for the show and come by to meet him and all of the great local artists that will be there. We'll see everyone there in a few weeks!

Had a blast this year as always. Hope everyone had fun. Was nice to hang out with other like minded fans, bought some cool stuff!

I'm pretty tuckered out from the drive down to Kent but now that I am home I am gonna have some unboxing and transforming fun. Then perhaps a long nap.
