Seriously, I HATE the robot mode of this mold. Vehicle mode looks solid, but the robot mode... show-accurate head or not, it can't make that bot mode look good. But the colors! Pretty!

I hope the torso is a TMII Dragon Megs using the Sky Lynx mold.

I've always thought Beast Wars characters look weird with vehicle modes. This looks even more off since Ravage retains absolutely NONE of the organic shapes and curves from the original (er, original BW design, that is; but heck, I think the G1 was less blocky than this).

Eh, I'll get it, given that Botcon 2016 is the first Botcon I'll be going to. Plus, if they make a full combiner (Which, if they do, I assume will be named "Predacus"), I can repurpose it as a .

Lemme guess... The other four will be:
- Ram Horn (Maybe Hot Spt with a "horned" ladder? )
- Sea Clamp (Maybe Rook with two "clamp" guns... or VERY INTERESTING Combiner Hands? )
- Cicadacon (Maybe a... "Bravo" Aerialbot because... well, it flies? )
- and Tarantulas (Maybe UW deluxe Groove due to Transmetal's "moto" mode? )
so we can have... Combiner Wars PENTADACUS?
Just a guess...

I do not like this toy, I do not like this mold and the head looks silly on the body. It doesnt look like the character and this means we now have to wait a while before he gets a better toy.
Also, I do not find him niche enough for Botcon but maybe that is just me.
In the end, I would have preffered this toy (and the anniversary for beast wars) be made up of new molds. I totally get that this is the club, so of course its repaints. But I would have preffered Hasbro proper to deal with this anniversary so we wouldnt be stuck with retools/redecos for something I deem quite important. And worse, it may mean we dont get proper versions for a while.

Maybe the others will be super cool. Also, no beast mode combiners coming any time soon. I know it's the 20th sooner rather than later, but man, his just seems like an odd mashup-- combiner wars vehicles with beast mode Beast Wars characters.
I am not even sure what to guess. Give terrasaur a jet alt mode, scorponok a tank-- or rampage, waspinator a jet, dinobot could be another tank, I don't v know.

You think they will repeat characters they already gave us? I thought this would be their chance of adding to the neo classics beast wars/vehicle mode collection they have been adding to over the years (like with Tarantulus this year). I think it will be a bunch of characters, or versions of characters (like TM or TMII) we havent seen yet.

I feel like you're right about the 3 members of Tripredacus but I'm not sure about Tarantulas seeing they just made one for TFCCSS though I don't know who else the could do. and I think Air Raid would be a better choice for Cicadacon with the variable wings that can be pointed up closer to bug-like wings. Ram Horn Could be made with Brawl with a new cannon. Maybe some sort of Unicron torso? Or just looking at the TFWiki page for the council it say their founder was Preditron so maybe him?

I'd like to know what Rattrap, Waspinator, and Rhinox think about that. I'll head down to my local Walmart and ask them; I know they're still hanging out.

If we really are getting some kind of Tripredacus homage at Botcon, we can technically already have a Magnaboss set of components to match, in the form of Combiner Wars Ironide, Prowl, and Silverbolt.
With the Three members of the original Tripredacus, this Ravage, and a Fifth Member, Botcon only needs another 2 suitable Combiner Wars Deluxe repaints/retools to add to the original three members of Magnaboss.
As a cool bonus, they could make a Magnaboss-esque head accessory that comes with the other 2 members that you can replace Superion's with to complete the homage.

For me, a Transmetal Tarantulas is just an "excuse" to get UW Groove mold into the fray. This, or either UW Groove asFlamewar (Hell, they could even use Legends Groove as either, IF one of the Tripredacus turns out to be REALLY Hot Spot!)... Or another Aerialbot repaint for Onyx Primal...

Now that would be either nice... or ludicruously underwelming for "not-more-CW-toys-repaints-for-exclusives"...

I agree that the CW Breakdown mold is... lacking in robot mode proportions, but he doesn't look too bad in all honesty. I'm more surprised at how soon they've revealed him

Lost sight of it? So it was a clerical error? It was misfiled? Who? Who? Who do you mean, who? How could somebody misfile something? What could be easier? It's all alphabetical. You just put it in the right file! According to alphabetical order! You know, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, K, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z! That's all you have too do! Idiotic question from n00b person: How about the Transmetals Cheetor mold? Even if they CAN'T retool it again to make a "Metals Ravage", but it may be possible to change his head to a more "Ravage-ish", right?

I think it's got a fairly solid robot mode, an unremarkable but competent vehicle mode, and a great sword-gun. To me, arm mode is where it's weakest, since the single elbow joint can't hold up the forearm, let alone weapons, though I do give them points for effort. Granted, turning at the waist so that the arm works the same way as other combiner wars limbs would probably make the problem go away, but for some reason I don't want to do that.
I don't necessarily think the mold is right for Ravage, nor am I thrilled with the head, but since the first part of the Beast Wars homage that they're choosing to showcase is basically all G1 except the Predacon insignias, I'm thinking that's probably the larger issue here.

Second of all, the theme name seems to strongly suggest the inclusion of the Tripredacus guys. So, with them and Ravage, that would make 4 of the 5 figures already for the combiner. Are there any other characters associated with Tripredacus?
