On a recent trip to Kuala Lumpur, Seibertron.com News Crew member Real Devastator found a couple of newly released Voyagers. He bought Defender Optimus Prime, which utilizes the Voyager Optimus Prime cast, and passed on the popular Mindwipe. All in all this signals that 2010 Voyager Wave 2 has now been released overseas. Only time will tell when the Mindwipe and Defender Optimus Prime will hit North American shores, however one can estimate that it will be sometime within the next month or the one after. Just a run-of-the-mill repaint with the red and whites reversed. Nothing special in the bio, other than his "rivalry" with Mindwipe.

Saw the news and just got Mindwipe! Thanks for the heads up, I'm quite clueless about these release dates and if it weren't for this I would've kept prowling around eBay for him for another week or so.

Nicely slim stealth bomber with a slightly taller than the average Voyager-class, regal looking bot mode, excellent paint apps and awesome hand-knives and mech-alive gimmick. The only thing I don't like about him is the gap he has in his chest, but even in there it's partially filled up with some bulk, detailing and a dab of paint, which is a nice touch.

Unsurprisingly, I passed on DOP. Too many iterations of a mold that I've never really been interested in, though definitely not as many as the 'Oh Primus, another one!?' Bumblebee swarm :roll:

edit: I just discovered that I could push Mindwipe's chest forwards more if I angled his rear wings up. No more chest gap - silly me 8-}

Defender Optimus Prime still isn't listed on the Sightings Product List. So if anyone else has found it, how would we all know. Supposedly Mindwipe has been spotted in a few places (once you discount the sightings made by JT320) and it supposedly arrived to stores in the same case as Defender Optimus Prime.

Mindwipe is thing of beauty. I got mine two weeks ago. He is so beautiful, that i perched him on the desk in my office. Maybe he can hypnotize my boss into giving me a payrise!

I love this mold of optimus prime but not the colors. I think its the best looking OP. He looks G1-ish with his large legs and such. Every one loves the Leader but i don't see the greatness of him from the packaged version in stores. I'll stick with the Voyager.

I like that Optimus, and I'll buy him... Albeit I'll probably paint over him but then again, I want a proper red and blue Optimus, and I want a voyager for a decent price.

So Mindwipe is out in Singapore, that means 4 weeks to the US and then another 8 weeks until it reaches the Midwest. So we'll see him about May I figure...

Someone link our news to TFW, and I receiving some sticks for getting prime instead of mindwipe. Haha real funny... As if teaching me how to spend my money.
Anyway I am optimus prime collector, so is natural I got myself another damn prime.

Mindwipe is real awesome in alternate mode. But I guess I have to pass it as I do not have bottomless wallet. My journey of collecting optimus prime still long way and no ending in sight.

Im un Kuwala Lumpa next month for 3 days will have to keep an eye out for new TF's

Christ, my girlfriends gonna kill me if if fill up her suitcase with toys to take back with us :S

I take it you've never gone abroad just to TF shop? The technique is to pack a suitcase within a suitcase within a suitcase ad infinitum. Russian doll that luggage! Those $25 Encore Sky Lynxes and $38 Encore Omega Supremes aren't going to teleport themselves home, you know.

He he well all those trips to Botcon taught me international shopping trips go better with out taking the girlfriend with you

Malaysia is very funny about weight limits, which is bad for getting things back to the UK.

Russian girlfriend means ill be moaned at in at least 3 different languages if i use her suitcase for anything

That Jetfire in the 2-pack is a black/silver repaint.
