Not only do the photos give an informative look at the construction process but Alfes2010 advises that putting the figures together is complicated and that he needed to refer to the instructions often...so good luck to those who are importing this set.

In all seriousness, I have this preordered and I am anxiously awaiting it! I hope soon, because I'm gearing up to move by August 1st and I don't want to have to change the shipping address I listed months ago.

too small? it's the size of a leader class figure.. that way it'll fit in better with the rest of everyone movie collections. which is smart if you ask me.
$120 doesn't seem too outrageous to me. model planes where i work go for around $40 and this is far more advanced, it's painted, there are different colors, super articulation, and a metal base body. also factor in that these have to be imported, and the prices isn't too outrageous.. sure i wish it were lower, but it's not unreasonable.
anyways. i seriously can't wait for this to get released. it's beautiful. the more difficult the better. i want this to be something that i can work on for a good chunk of time.
i really hope we get a dual model megatron, or starscream, or shockwave. any large decepticon really, even if it's blackout or bonecrusher.

Dude, blackout and bonecrusher would be the high points of all this, but that won't happen. just hope for megatron and shockwave. those are the most likely candidates.

A Shockwave model kit would be perfect, seeing as he's probably not going to transform in the movie, anyway.

Here's why :-
1) I dont need another huge prime...For crying out loud I dont even own ONE huge Megs...
2) The revoltech is smaller and he fits well with my Voyager Megs very well since he's pretty much the size of a Deluxe TF .
3) I prefer the guns on the Revoltech rather than the swords on this guy.
Though I gotta say the whole "Skeletal to Armored" robot system is really cool . But yeah...

1,000 times better then that revoltech guy.
plus, you get to build him, so that's even better!
EDIT:
Oh and crimson, I'm not trying to flame you, I didn't see your comment until just now, but I'm just saying, I Do humbly disagree.

Mannn !!! You always succeed in making me "LMFAO" in your dumbness LOL XD ! 1000 times better? Unless you have some sight issue then yes it is 1000x I suppose. Let's see the only diff between the two is :-
1) Size
2) Articulation
3) Solidness
4) Weapons
5) Able to build from scratch
6) The maker
But other than that...The whole paint, detail and lookness thing...They pretty much look the same. Like I said...Unless you have some sight issue, this guy and Revoltech Optimus is pretty much the same >.>...Please stop make dumb comments from now on kay? I'm really getting tired of it by now...

1- this one fits in better with the rest of the movie collection.. and since he's a little smaller he's more in scale with leader starscream and sentinel. we've only had two leader primes. this isn't bumblebee where he's gotten a bunch of unnecessarily large molds.
2- fair point. but for me i'd rather him fit in with my leader class figures. if we get a leader or dual model megatron or shockwave it'll be perfect.
3- the guns are okay. but personally i think the dual model swords are the best prime swords we've gotten yet. and when i think of prime from the movies.. i think of the swords. but it's awesome that they included all of those weapons for revoltech prime.
and here's where i disagree with you completely.. revoltech prime doesn't win, they both do lol. and you are a perfect example of why it's great that we're getting both. all of your points are valid and warrant a revoltech prime. mine are the opposite which is why the dual model fits me better. so it's a win win.
bbts better get these things in stock soon. i hope it takes me a decent amount of time putting this together. i can't wait.. however i still haven't decided whether or not i want to add paint detailing and weathering.

WOW, seriously?
I just disagreed with you WITHOUT insulting your language problems, immaturity, and overuse of that dumb emoticon, all I said was, I humbly disagree. I get it, hell WE ALL GET IT YOU NOOB! YOU LIKE ACTION FIGURES WITHOUT ALL THE COMPLEXITY! WTF Is wrong with you? just how old are you anyway? 14? Id'e say that sounds about right! you just can't help yourself can you? all you do is belittle others to make yourself feel better! When I first came to this site, That's pretty much all I did. Iv'e changed! And you know what? you need to as well! If this optimus is just to hard for you to build, than just say so, instead of insulting people with your stupidity! your comment was dry and pointless. It doesn't belong here. you want to insult people on how "Dumb" their clear cut opinions are, go over to 4chan and leave us real fans alone! if you decide to change, and start acting more mature, then maybe people will get along with you better!
Or option 2: you stay on here, stay the same, and make NO friends!
you express opinions here, not force opinions onto others!
you don't like what Iv'e got to say? you don't like other's opinions? than get the f*ck off the damn internet! Look out your window! there's the sun, and grass, and animals too! the graphics are mush better out there!
Anyway, seibertronians, My opinion, is that this model kit is beast! as a gundam collector, I must have one. seeing as it's the same size, give or take an inch, from leader op, I might just buy one to use for modding on my leader op! WOOHOO! New hands, here I come!

Agreed, and I'd pick up a Megs with this treatment as well. I think this one turned out 100x's better than the BB one.

Lol you're the one sounding like a 14 year old lmfao xP. Oh btw I dont need any friends and I can build this guy easy. After all I already build like a shit ton of MG Gundams in less than 5 hours and I can certainly build this one . And so what if I use alot of emoticon anyway? Is it wrong? No. After all this forums got like a shit ton of emoticon and the internet world have like thousands more. I only use some of it and I can tell you now that it's not wrong at all. Oh and I only commented that this guy is not 1000x better by logic and you call that childish? Man you're weird and yet again you make me laugh like a 10 year old xP. Grow up kid ^^.

I'm not sure where you`re located, but there are tons of stores on the West Coast that import stuff like this from Japan. And I'm sure every major city has some sort of Japanese hobby store that has model kits like this.

this kit is absolutely amazing! I love it! (though I am waiting till December to pick one up)
I think that this should have just been created as a fully painted and fully "secured" ultimate action figure (like Hot Toys Ironman).. but hey, it's the best damn movie prime I have seen to date, no offense to Buster..
I too am hoping for a full fledged Megatron and Starscream next..
Shockwave would be very cool as well.
But may I ask a question..
Why do I feel like Bumblebee just looks off?? is it the toyish gray? I have seen some painted versions that looked cool.. but still looks off..
is it the shoulders? maybe the forearms? the chest plate seems too small..
I hope the rereleases in December address some of the minor complaints in both these kits..primes fingers, strengthening the shoulders, adding primes gun, and securing minor pieces that could pop off.. or adjustments to the ball joints in the neck..
as for Bumblebee, a new chest plate and arms might do the trick.. the legs look awesome to me though..maybe they should use a different mold color for the under body, and vary the colors to make the model seem less cheap.. and give it the ability to not have to be painted if so chosen..
I would love to see Takara Tomy release a DMK-01A which has metallic color molded blue and red parts.. that would rock!
