Their best bet would probably be to release it in MP size to give more people a reason to buy...assuming it's being released in large numbers.
i agree.

I'd buy this. I'd buy it and chuck my classics version. At this stage in it's development it looks truer to the original design, and that's what I value aesthetically. My favorite characters as a kid were the movie characters. So this appeals to me.
You like the Bay stuff? Great. You like realistic vehicle G1? Super. You want a Heinlad alarm clock or a pink dragon Galvatron with a permanent grimace? Can't blame you. Hell, don't appreciate the design of this scourge? At least appreciate the craftsmanship of what these guys are doing. I just can't fathom what would motivate someone to spout off like some of you people do.

Hate all you want want on "geewuners" We have the disposable income to buy what we like. Once you kiddies get out of college maybe you can dictate what the market provides.

I skipped on multiples of classics scourge because I didn't really dig it. I bought 1 but have not even opened it.
I have 3 Titanium scourges, that can be demoted to sweeps, with this guy leading them.
I have to admit, their timing is pretty bad, though.

if the figure is voyager scale or ultra sized & is over 7 inches tall in robot mode, then I need this toy ASAP.
I disagree with all the replies in this thread, regarding the generations deluxe scourge being a decent toy. personally the toy is garbage. it's got a alt mode that looks nothing like 1986 scourges alt mode, plus it's a under sized deluxe updated homage. IMHO,Any 1986 scourge updated homage needs to be voyager size & bigger, not 5 & 1/4 inches tall in robot mode like the generations scourge toy is in robot mode. the 1986 cartoon scourge was portrayed as a bigger than average character & was way bigger than the average jazz or wheeljack robot mode. the 1986 Scourge toy by todays standards would be considered a voyager or ultra sized toy.
At the very least the titanium 6 inch G-1 Scourge toy did try to mimick the 1986 G-1 scourge robot & alt mode. but this toys down fall is the size,it's too small,it needed to be bigger, like 7.5 inches tall in robot mode & voyager sized.
Hopefully these 3rd party guys making this, create a 7.5 inch or taller in robot mode scourge toy. then I'll buy one ASAP.
I really love all the detail that went into this sculpt. it definately looks like it was meant for adult collectors & not for toddlers. I feel this sculpt design really captures all the awesomeness of 1986 Scourge in both modes.

A 3 pack would help too! But I agree, price will be the biggest factor for me on this one.

the new paint apps on the United Hot Rod goes pretty far to improve a fairly accurate figure.
The G2/laser prime from Reveal the Shield will, inevitably, be repainted as Nemesis. There is a pre order up for a Nemesis Movie Prime. We will probably get a Nemesis MP Prime 2.0 from Takara. There are always the "Leaders" from Igear.ninjascythe79 wrote:Or how bout Nemesis Prime.

Don't count out a Leader class release of old Megs yet. Their are several versions of the Voyager that are quite pretty.
Look at the front page articles, it's being addressed.ninjascythe79 wrote:0r How bout Galvatron.

Agreed. Now, if they make these things Voyager sized, actually give him hands, and kind of sharpen some prominent areas (like his Decepticon emblem on his chest, looks a little round), I might consider picking up one.

I was suggesting that because if you wanted to differentiate your Generation Scourges, not only would he have a different chassis, but he would also appear taller.

It's called freedom of speech, mate. Agree with them or not, everyone is entitled to an opinion. I know it's frustrating when someone takes a dislike to something you are fond of, especially when they're trying to pass off opinion as fact. All you can do is recognise when someone is sharing their opinion (which it appears you can) and try to brush it off.

I wonder what else they have up their sleeves. Kup and Scourge do seem like somewhat strange choices given that they already have decent original releases. Did they come up with these and sat on it all this while?

Btw, they have more projects under their belt. Even ANOTHER powerglide. What interests me though is the Steeljaw they have. Looks pretty good.

WORD!!! Thanks man. I don't remember ever even hearing of this guy, and it seems to be a well developed (even colored) Prototype! He is... kinda goofy, but I can find things to admire. And yes, Steeljaw, absolutely looks cool as SH....!

No, that's the final product, if I remember correctly it was sold as a limited garage kit at a convention.

OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..................... EEsh. You know, he does have some impressive articulation and the most accurate vehicle mode since the '86 Kup. If I was at a convention and the price was right, I probably would have picked him. Might look nice next to Delicate Warrior.
How long ago was this?
