Convoy (Optimus Prime)
Megatron
Soundwave
Starscream
Skywarp
(Japanese translated by Seibertron.com): Skywarp will contain all of the alt mode accessories and detail as MP Starscream. The plane will be all black. Skywarp will feature two new face molds: “High Pressure Face” and “Gnashing Teeth Face”. Skywarp will also feature some clear parts and include a pilot, sidewinder missiles, display base, and two sidearm cannons.
It is rumored that Skywarp will have more die-cast than Starscream. According to the translation “Fans will be proud of the heavy appearance and strength due to die-cast use.”

That Skyloom link is a terrific read.
How will he have more die-cast than Starscream?

Sounds good. Hopefully quality control will be better and the pilot will be detailed.
The use of die cast sounds promising.

Sorry for the confusion. I translated this from the original page (I speak Japanese) - http://www.e-hobby.co.jp/cgi-bin/omc?port=33301&req=PRODUCT&code=mp6. In addition to the translation, I posted a Google translated page (above) as well so people could check it out in English. (The Google translated pages are not as reliable though).
I was trying to say translated by "Seibertron.com" so you know that this information was translated by us and not another source. Darn typos (corrected now)
I forgot to mention that there will be new stickers for Skywarp.

The news on MP Skywarp is good. I'm glad that they are changing the mold for the face and adding more die cast! I like the black color they've mentioned, I just hope they highlight it with purple and white, to make it more like Skywarp.

That's understandable. I had calculated that if not Ryan then you meant the site anyway. Those Google translations are never very good, in my opinion, but they are an interesting read!

I could not agree more, a different pilot would be nice too, but I can't recall SkyWarp ever flying anybody? maybe I can find one of those mini mincroman pilots to place inside of him.
I hopeif they eventual release Dirge, he comes with a Sean Berger, that would be cool.
Sadly in all this however, I can't seem to bring up the pictures though. I's ok though I saw a thumb over at Tformers, it was tiny but got the job done. If these are clearer, well that'll just be a treat for later than!

Yes, or pretending that grammar doesn't exist!

I would say watch them make Thundercracker an exclusive, but then I remember that this is Takara, and not Hasblo.

Interesting that the figure may contain more diecast - if it does I hope that it's in the leg region to help stability.

You see, when weaving material into fabric (as in using a loom to do it) the threads that go in one direction are called the fill threads. The threads in the perpendicular direction to the fill is called the warp.
I love translations!!!

Starscreams bad comedy wrote:I think it would have been interesting if they stuck with the theme of modeling them after real life jets. Maybe they could have made Thundercracker a F-16 and Skywarp a F-18. Sure, they wouldnt have the G1 characteristics that using a F-15 would have, but at least it would actually give some distinction to them as characters. Actually the only real difference would be the intakes wouldnt be shoulder mounted in bot mode considering that the F-16 has one large intake centered under the canopy and the F-18 two smaller rounded intakes.
Aerialbots!!!

That's not Engrish. That's a computer taking Japanese & translating it word for word into English with no reguard for sentence structure. You would get nearly the same effect translating just about any language into English.Swerve wrote:Caelus wrote:Oh, I don't know, I think I prefer the translation I see on their site:[sutasukurimu] in the head, to the aircraft it becomes deformed the important character of the jet remaining overnight unit which MP conversion!!

....I believe in Engrish, they try to halfway do it right....just they fail miserably.
.....Anyway, Skywarp sounds spiffy. I wonder who his pilot will be? Wouldn't be suprised if it's just a generic pilot.
....Hey!! Didn't he kidnap Chip Chase a few times?? Or at least Spike or Sparkplug??

Perhaps I'll just have to buy this Soundwave too once he's released. We'll see.
[edit]On closer inspection, the pics of Starscream and Soundwave seem to be the same ones we saw in the previous thread, only larger and clearer. As stated in the previous thread, they still look suspiciously like original 80s promo shots rather than pics of the new releases. (Especially Starscream's Null Rays)

I'm betting there will be an eHobby Exclusive Masterpiece at some point.

There are several variations of Optimus Prime so I am uncertain if it will be the original with the yellow eyes and clear windshield or the New Year's version with Blue eyes and windshield. There's also that red footed version of Optimus, and they could even do a limited Diaclone version of Optimus.
Megatron could either feature the blue leg trim like he did on the box of thr Goodbye Megatron set or maybe they issue another black with wood handle P38 version.
As far as Starscream is concerned, while I feel he didn't look all that great in anime acurate colors as a figure, I wouldn't mind them re-releasing that version just to change things up a bit. I have a few of the re-issues as well as my original but I'd like to see something a little different as an incentive to buy this version as well. Even if he came with some new accessories, that would be reason enough.
As far as Soundwave goes, I seriously hope this is the single cassette chest version. I like my Hasbro commemorative but he just isn't Soundwave, of course he isn't Soundblaster either. I feel that Black paint scheme with the red cassette door just makes Soundblaster. I'm really hoping for Rumble, Frenzy, or maybe even Ratbat and if I'm real lucky some energon cubes.
Anyways, I feel if e-hobby were to do there own versions, they will probably not be straight re-issues. I realize that they there has only been talk of the Takara Encore line but we still aren't 100% sure what we are getting yet.

Sometimes eHobby sells eHobby exclusives; but MP-06 and the Encore series are not exclusives so you should be able to find these on most online retailers.
