With all the
Transformers 4 news buzzing about, artist
Emiliano Santalucia thought it would be the perfect time to post some of his
Transformers: Dark of the Moon concept art. With Hasbro's permission he has updated his
blog with two versions of a piece titled "Autobot Fire Fight". Check them out mirrored below, you can read more by visiting
Emiliano Santalucia's blog.
This first image is meant to represent a new Autobot team engaging in a fire fight. No specific characters were defined at that time, we just wanted them to be new and cool.
Below, you can also see the preliminary sketch that evolved in the final piece.

Well
now is a fine time to reveal this, two years later.
It would have been pretty neat to see generic Autobots in action

A nice, big artbook would be nice indeed.

that would have a great scene - but my problem is that Bay and Co. makes them so unrecognizable that you could name this anything other than TF and we would believe it.
