Shame that it seems like those 4 I mentioned above are the only other ones they're making, based off the links/silhouettes on Blurr's page, any chance they mentioned in the stream that they would possibly make more characters than just those? I'd love the chance to get a Sir Soundwave, Grimlock, Wheeljack, and Sideswipe, and I thought there was a rumor floating around about Hot Rod getting some variety of black repaint that people were assuming was an SG repaint.
Preorders for everyone are supposed to open at 5 PM EST/2 PM PST.LordBludgeon wrote:Any idea when this will be available to order for Non-Premium Pulse members? Currently only premium members can pre-order.

I wonder how they'll do Megatron. The original has much more in common with Galvatron. But where does that leave Galvy? Will the just paint Siege Megatron purple and give him a new head?

How Hasbro, how about a line dedicated to Marvel UK? We still need a Emirate Xaaron figure ...
Posted by Rodimus Prime on April 10th, 2021 @ 7:10pm CDT
I don't either, which is why I haven't said anything. Some fans enjoy them and I'm glad they're getting what they like. I wish we all did.Burn wrote:I must be one of the few people in this fandom that doesn't give a flying hoot about Shattered Glass.
I could go for that. Followed by a proper Straxus and Thunderwing. Or how about comic-scaled Maximus and Scorponok?Hasbro, how about a line dedicated to Marvel UK? We still need a Emirate Xaaron figure ...
But anyway, this is the new SG thread, so SG should be discussed. With all the repaints the Siege Megatron has gotten, I'd love to see a red, white and blue SG version.

but i bought the selects SG prime and ratchet and thought they were cool for a one off set
but now that i hear there's an SG line coming as long as it a small group of characters hopefully no bigger than a dozen
i might just try to acquire them
i think it would make for a cool display with the regular vs SG standing opposite of each other

Not officially, but more of a precursor.

Would that make PotP Rodimus Unicronus a pre-precursor

I really like the inclusion of the wings to make Siege Megatron somewhat resemble the original Shattered Glass Megs . Robot mode looks really nice, and although the spaceship mode does leave a bit to be desired (The main thing that bugs me about it is the gap between the legs) it looks fine overall and hey the tank mode is still there (honestly kind of surprised they aren't marketing him as a triple changer), although the shield won't really have anywhere to go.
So yeah I'll definitely be trying to get this bad good boy if possible.

william-james88 wrote:Good old Siege Megatron. Many are tired of the mold but Hasbro is banking on you letting this new release slide since the newly revealed Transformers Shattered Glass Megatron has new parts to give the old mold a new alt mode. And he costs the same as a regular voyager, which is a pretty sweet deal. Plus with this redeco, you get the nice presentation for MOSC collectors and a special comic. All for $29.99. He is coming out October first of this year.

Looks like they bumped the price to $37, might want to change the article

Lolol definitely this one because they just shoehorned it in and Broadside's jet was part of the actual design
I love my Broadside but I never use his jet mode, and I mainly got him because I couldn't afford a fansproject assaulter at the time

But my god, the asking price from Hasbro in the UK? £34.99 is a bit much. To put it in perspective for the American buyers, that's the equivalent of $48. I was kinda happy to see that Pulse was being spread to other countries but the fact that Hasbro are charging UK fans a premium beyond the added price this already has, just doesn't sit well with me.
If they'd added about £4 to the original £23.99 of the Voyager price, roughly equivalent to what they added to the price for Americans, it'd be more acceptable (that's despite the fact that £23.99 is already higher than the American retail cost). It's a shame because I do kinda like the look of the figure but I cannot justify the price hike for a Voyager quality figure.
If it were like SS86 Hot Rod, who is smaller but has a much higher quality than pretty much any other Voyager we've had in a long time, then maybe it'd be okay. But with this Megatron that looks good but as a figure is largely just acceptable with a lot of hollow cavities? Nah.

looks like they will. There's a 5mm peg on both the sides and the tops of the wings, the side ones are for the spaceship configuration and the tops for the way they're oriented in robot mode.

Americas price has gone up, hasbro makes sure fans in every country gets screwed these days XD
On a side note I didnt realise it's the Siege mold so I'm out on this one unless Hasbro some how throws a free figure in with him (it's not that far off what SG Prime and Ratchet cost me). Kapows saying prices off hasbro figures to receive price hikes (which for most cases they already have -especially charging the next size class up prices for the size below it for some)

Anyhoo, thoughts: The colors look OK, and the new wings/canopy look clever in helping to conceal the old H-treads. But - they're STILL there. It doesn't help that the robot thighs are completely exposed. This makes me think that the entire front section of the alt mode is going to flop around a lot, unless they engineered some way to keep the robot hip joints from moving. Otherwise - that cockpit will suffer from severe drooping (don't snicker, Crow).
The robot mode looks a little encumbered by all the extra accessories, but otherwise, Siege Megatron was always OK in robot mode. The lack of feet that tilt forward on WFC figures always bugged me though, especially with this mold. Ditto for the hands which just won't fold out all the way.
Passing on this one - unless it winds up on discount.
