Firstly, it seems the leaders, Grimlock and Blackout, will look a lot like their on screen apparances but have very easy transformations. This was hinted at with the bigger panels present on leader Blackout in the leaked images with his feet resembling Leader Ironihide's. The transformation might be on par with that release in terms of complexity. The fan comments on the great deco and paint on Grimlock but says that the weapon (hammer) can not be removed due to transformation. Grimlock's T-Rex mode is said to be about 40 cm long but hollowed out at the bottom. Blackout will come with a small Scorponok (pictured below).
Voyager Optimus Prime has a similar Transformation and design to MPM-4 (and thus Revenge of the Fallen Optimus Prime) with good poseability. Starscream will come with his rotor blade (also pictured below) and the design of the toy is similar to the Dark of the Moon deluxe.
Keep in mind, these points are translated from Chinese so some parts may be lost or misinterpreted.

Not sure about 'very easy transformations' on Blackout and Grimlock...that always makes me worried but I'd have to see them properly. And non-removable weapon on Grimlock? Sounds very odd. Voyager Prime sounds good.
Little Scorponok looks great.

Quantum Surge wrote:I can't find the pics of the other figures mentioned. The Blackout transformation shouldn't be too bad as long as it's solid and accurate to his scheme. Grimlock's weapon concerns me, but if it's better than the AOE version, I would sort of let it off.
The pics of those other toys are part of leaks we were asked not to post on the site. There are still no decent pics out there of any of these toys.

Grimlock: it is all gonna depend. I am satisfied with the AoE Leader, so they will need to do something really dramatic, like make a screen accurate dino mode for me to display him in that mode, for me to get him.
Voyager Prime will be a pass, I got the MP among many others.
Starscream: I only have the first movie voyager, so I will almost definitely get him too.
Yay for another Scorponok!!

We also have a very brief bio which says that Decepticon Blackout shocks human defenses with unstoppable force.

He is so much more then I could have ever hoped for, way nicer looking then his Voyager Class figure from 2007, and what else can I say except...............WOW!!!
Pure awesomeness, and I can't wait to see more figures from this line.

I'll buy him and place him in my "personal canon" universe so I can finally have a Blackout among my Decepticon high command, (I would buy him for a movie collection but I missed out on too many figures in the past to actually dedicate myself to a proper movie verse collection)

william-james88 wrote:Coming from Weibo, we have what many fans have long been waiting for, a clear image of leader Blackout. We have known of this toy for a while and for a complete list of all the other toys part o the Transformers Studio Series line, you can click here. This is the image of the back of his box which not only gives us an image of Blackout in his robot mode and alt mode but plenty of other details too. We see the Scorponok figure he comes with (again) along with the amount of transformation steps, which is 46. This is odd since previous reports said he was on the simple side and he is not devoid of kibble, with his feet showing obvious alt mode panels. We should also remember that The Last Knight Leader Megatron was said to be 30 steps, and while that may be accurate, he was not overly complex.

Well I'll be damned. Has Hastak finally learned from the 3rd party market?

DeathReviews wrote:Well that leader Blackout looks a lot better than the 2007 voyager version. But that ain’t exactly shootin’ for the moon now, is it..?
The voyager figure is still pretty decent, particularly since it was one of the very first movie figures, a style and aesthetic that took the toy designers some time to figure out to capture that level of complexity and detail into a toy particularly with certain characters (as usual compare 2007 Leader Prime with RotF Leader Prime to see the change but both are good toys in their own way, just the RotF figure is tons more accurate to the actual movie character and the 2007 figure would still have been a great toy if it had released as some kinda upgraded G1 Prime if the movie hadn't existed) and Blackout was a fine figure just disappointly small considering how large he was in the film.

Could just colour in the gaps between toes in black paint or marker pen? But yeah that's the only bit that's bugging me really about the toy but there's almost always something with just about every Transformer figure most of us wish could be better in some way.

Right. Not a dealbreaker by any means, just a comment.

Yeah I get what you mean though. It's like his toes aren't really touching the ground at all, but clearly have chopped panel under them. Rest of the figure looks so good it's just that bit looks like it came from a much simpler figure.

And the voyager Blackout is still a decent toy. He did a good job for the 2007 engineering times, and he is fun. But this leader figure is looking so very good

Posing nicely in the photo behind the scribbles so it's possible/posable.

Quantum Surge wrote:Megs and Brawl would be great to get, but am I the only one that wants a good MV1 Megatron? The Voyager has the oddly implemented ice parts and I feel he's not accurately proportioned. The Leader was a good size if you'd want him to be bigger than Prime, but he's got awkward poseability, and some of the rubber parts are pretty annoying. Hopefully, Hasbro could revisit some previous designs if fans want them to make a MV1 Megatron, and hopefully his face won't be shrouded in black paint where it'd make the details more washed out!
When rumours first hit, i was hoping voyager megs was movie 1 design. It's the only movie voyager megs i don't have. The original just doesn't cut it, even if i custom it like the others.

Why a Voyager Brawl? Voyager Megatron I get, the old Voyager had a good robot mode and tank mode save for the wings.
A bigger Bonecrusher would be cool, but I read that's already happening.
I would like Takara to get another crack at the Arcee sisters.
Hasbro should really release those Legend 3 set vs Sideways. Would love the 3 sisters in Legend scale, or 3 different molds Deluxe.
More movie Constructicons, especially the ones with 2 legs would be awesome. The Dread that has a dog mode in deluxe form would be cool. The Dumptruck Decepticon.
Takara / Hasbro are doing excellent in the toys department, don't even need these but very cool. Too bad the last movie sucked worse than ROTF.

With this voyager it's going to be one of the coolest transformers figures ever unless it's not so good in hand.

I know what you mean about Brawl , I have always thought the same (that he is a good adaptation of his G1 counterpart).
I am really looking forward to his Voyager Class. Another figure (or I should say two figures) that I would want made is the Mudflap/Skids Ice Cream Truck , but as a Voyager, I have always the Deluxe version was too small, kind of like how I feel about Bonecrusher. I do doubt though that they will make the Ice Cream Truck Bros, considering how people feel about the two.

Joining the likes of Blackout, Megatron, Brawl in the Decepticon line of of toys, Starscream is shown in the packaged images below, though we get no real look at the figure at all other than some box art, plus a look at the 5th figure in the same line being Autobot Leader Optimus Prime, and a new shot of Brawl's packaging (number 12 in the line), with the figure completely erased from view. Check them out below mirrored from Weibo user tf-factory!
