Make the donation, fill in the form, and you might get a free figure out of it.
If you don't get the figure, you still helped people that need help.

Kudos to you Fansproject for trying to motivate fans once again to part ways with their money... but for something that profits you none.

It is.

I did it through Red Cross at first and their receipt does not meet the minimum standards FP has outlined.

Not understanding that. They require fairly basic information and I paid with a credit card which showed all the info they asked for afterwards. Showed the same info in the receipt email as well. Kinda ashamed of myself as a person that it took them giving away toys to prompt me to send money so soon. I would have gotten to it eventually but most likely not today. Great idea from FP though, I hope it motivates others as well.

I'm not sure. It's just that the Red Cross receipt doesn't say "Japan Earthquake Relief" etc., which is where I targeted the donation.
I don't care mind you... I just thought people should know so that they can abide by the rules FP has set forth.

Me's too.
I too feel like Flux, I was going to get to it, I hadn't yet, but when there was a free 'rare' toy involved, I wanted to get to it right away.
I'm a sad, sad person.

It is just a bit sad that it is a 3rd party company that is making this type of effort, while we have seen nothing similar from Hasbro.
They could easily pump out special editions of Ratchet, GI Joe Doc and/or Clone troop medics, and donate proceeds to the relief effort in Japan.
If anyone on the boards has any pull with Hasbro, I know I would buy such figures, over and above any other donations I have already made, and I am sure others would too.

After I made my donation Red Cross sent me three e-mails. The second e-mail (tax receipt) shows everything that FP needs to see.
Mind you I just sent them a forward of my paypal receipt and thanked them for encouraging others to help.
Would I like Blesser, ya sure. Who wouldn't? Is it the reason I donate. No, not at all.
This is my second time donating to the Japanese Earthquake fund through Red Cross and I would kindly ask anyone who reads this to take 15 minutes out of their days and $15.oo out of your wallets to help those in need.

And if you don't receive an email back from FP check your spam box, that's where mine went.

This is just so awesome! I hope we can get as many fans to donate as possible. Since they are doing this, then I will also donate another $15 my next pay just to do the right thing. Their generosity is infectious.
FansProject, you have continually impressed me with all announcements you make. You have my support in all you do.

That's what I'm doing with mine!
I'm giving mine to Side Burn when he comes in. Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll do Side Burn Protector.

Does anyone know if this figure can be held by other figures? I mean, does his peg fit into standard fist holes? I don't have Rodimus, so I'm hoping other Classics figures can hold him.

GuyIncognito wrote:I donated through the American Red Cross site, and the top of the receipt says "The American Red Cross is acting swiftly to put your donation to work in communities affected by the earthquake in Japan and tsunami throughout the Pacific." I'm assuming that will be good enough.

He's got both a 5mm and a 4mm peg(at least I think 4mm is the size of Roddy's hole). He should fit in some one's hands with the 5mm peg.

Just hit Print Scrn, and paste into any photo editing software.
Or, hold Alt while pressing Print Scrn to capture just the active window.

Um, it's not working. Is there something I have to do first to get it to print the screen, like turn the print screen option on?

If you're on a notebook, you might have to hold the Fn (Function) key, depending on your keyboards layout.
Hitting the Print Scrn key basically replaces the copy command, then just hit Ctrl + V in MS Paint. Once in Paint, just crop it and save/print it.

If I dont get the figure then I don get it as there will be lots of people scrambling for them I think( this is world wide) but it should make you feel better that you made a donation not that you got a exclusive figure.
