Maybe Guardian is the name of Protector's trailer? Like G3 was the name of Prime's. Maybe it is referring to the upcoming Broadside-esque figure, or maybe it is a mis-translation of Defender?
Just stabs in the dark here

That and the onomatopoeia "EHRRP..." like the trailer belched

And "Protector" should be a whiney bee-yoch if he holds true to character. I like the brooding Rodimus Prime, personally. He has courage, but is filled with self doubt. I think many of us can relate to that.

What's wrong Fansproject? Don't want our money yet?
HUGE EDIT:
The Guardian Roller thingy is already part of the Protector set! The rear of the battle station has the wheels and the shape and, upon farther inspection, looks detachable!

After Prime drops Megatron off the edge and collapses, the first thing Hot Rod does is rush over and ask Optimus to forgive him. He knew and admitted to what he did before Optimus even died! What holds him back as Rodimus is the lesson he learned: rushing in can get people killed. Every time he holds back, he's fighting his natural instinct to charge in which may get his friends (that now must follow his orders) killed.
Rodimus Prime is a much deeper character than we could realize when we were kids.

I believe at BotCon they said that the roller with Protector would be a targetmaster-correct?

I didn't know that. I wasn't there and didn't have the internet at the time. If it's old news, yay I'm caught up!

No, they said that it would FIT the targetmasters, I believe they used Nightstick as an example. Vange1us has a video talking to FP about Protector on his YouTube page, i'm pretty sure that's where I heard it.

Man, I cannot wait for this set. Well, I can, I still need to pay for the Bruticus add-ons.

...Oh, yeah. Completely forgot about that. My bad.

In Vange1us video on YouTube, the Fansproject rep said in our hands by Christmas.
And the Roller is clearly detachable in the video, you just had to be looking for it I guess. YAY I was right!

So quick questions:
1: I'm guessing that Protector's gun will be able to be mounted on Guardian/Roller, in that case, can the barrel extension be mounted on Guardian/Roller separately from Rodimus' gun?
2: If so, is that where it is supposed to be mounted in Truck/Winnebago mode? On Guardian/Roller?

Sodan-1 wrote:I may be wrong, but I don't think Guardian is the name of Protector's equivalent of Roller. Protector seems surprised that the scout unit is alive, and this comes after he mentions Guardian. Probably a reference to a later project. FansProject's Broadside hasn't actually been given a name yet. Might be him. But then again, Omega Supreme is traditionally referred to as a "guardian". We can but hope.
Yeah, you might be right about roller. I re-read it and I like your interpretation.
Maybe Kup? (Wishful thinking?)

Based on the picture of the "Guardian" and the fact he refers to OP's Roller as G3, I'm pretty sure Guardian is Hot Rod's roller.

I don't believe Roller is the targetmaster but I have read from people that went to Botcon, that he is suppose to come with a Targetmaster. I hope so.

Again, I'm sure I am WAY off. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
They're calling the Wreck-Gar figure "Collector". comes in young male, elder male & young female. And they can ride each other.

FP aren't doing Wreck-Gar as far as I know, I heard they were doing other Junkticons. A male, female and another (older male?). Anyway, I think they were titled Collector, so I would assume it is just Collector-1, Collector-2 and Collector-3. This was a year ago or so though so maybe the name has changed.
Edit: I was beaten to it

I can get behind this theory. I usually get too wrapped up in the thought that the trailers are extensions of that leader and therefore don't have a name of their own. But given that this trailer is both additional armour AND a battle station, this makes sense.
Damn you DangerousFat! I was dreaming of FansProject Omega.

I hope they don't ever make an Omega Supreme. If Springer ran me $80, Swindle $45, Blast-Off $45. Omega would probably weigh in around $215. The wife will NEVER allow that, so it's best that they don't put the temptation there.

Yeah, at that price range it might just be worth it to make one out of scratch instead. I kept on wanting to get a Thundercracker but the prices that he goes for meant it was just cheaper to repaint an Acidstorm that I have. I would love to heavily modify the hell out of a Tidalwave toy and turn it into Overlord.

That's exactly what I've been doing today. The hardest part you're going to have is if you use different arms. I'll post wip pics in a kitbash thread if you want.

Other than that, Helsinki yes. FansProject continues to outdo themselves.
