Why does Bumblebee look like hes dying? I know the new designs have met with some hate, but suicide isn't the answer!

I know I thought that when I first saw Bumblebee there too!!!
Compared to minimates, legomen, and kubricks, they're kinda meh. Lack a lot of detail and could use some sculpting work. Not terribly bad though. Would like to see more pics and in person. That "Autobot" one throughs me though....

Interesting. Weird. Will pick up if domestic, but not worth importing.

Cuboids gone horribly wrong! These would only work as G1 TFs, not the movie designs.

Don't tempt them!
Bumblebee reminds me of a Telebug. Anyone remember Telebugs? It was a (barely) animated British children's show back in the 80s, back when Britain could still produce animation without using plasticine.

I don't want to be negative but after the recent images of items from the movie and then these... I can't help but wonder when they'll release a decent movie related product.
You know, one people might actually buy...

Those are *terrible*! Yuck! If you want small, non-transforming TF figures, then just get Robot Heroes, don't waste your money on this crap! Seriously, Robot Heroes personally aren't my thing, but at least they look like what they are supposed to look like. These look like some cheap knock-off company product trying to cash in on the movie, not real licensed toys.

While these may noy appeal to the majority of us, this isn't aimed at us either. This will be marketed towards children like the rest of the transformers brand has ever been. I can see the kids liking these just fine.

Actually, I feel these are more toward collectors, though I could see kids getting in on the fun (possibly even more so). If you look at other similar lines, such as mini-mates, kubricks, and all the others (see Toyfare magazine), it is clear that their primary market lies with the collectors. Now, if these were released under the Lego, Mega Blocks, BTR, etc. banners, they that would be a different story.

Agreed... I don't care much about G1 homages, but Classics has some of the best-designed transformers in revent memory. I'd say they beat out a small handful of surreal mini-mate wannabes hands down.

Bumblebee must realize he isn't a Volkswagon and plus his design really sucks. Of course Hasbro is making a lot of crap I hope none of you Transfans will buy (Optimus Prime Big Rig Blaster, Optimus Prime Voice Changer, Beatmix Bumblebee, Cyber Slammers, Cyber Stompin', etc.)
