First Look at Flame Toys IDW Optimus Prime and Autobot Megatron Model Kit, Devastator and Bumblebee #ACGHK Updated

So, now I'm up to 5 Furai kits, 2 IDW kits, and 2 statues. Geez!!

Autobot Megatron in MTMTE style just made me so excited

This isn't enough! We need official and toys of IDW Optimus Prime and Megatron, that can actually transform!
(And please, HasTak, for the love of Primus, no stickers this time.)

Flame Toys is showing a lot of new product at the AGH Hong Kong show. We do not have the best images though, but Flame Toys themselves have provided official images for all these products.

We have official images for:

Victory Leo: Grey model so far, this fully articulated figure combined with their Star Saber to make Victory Saber (a really cool grey area of a non Hasbro/Takara company able to make somewhat of a Transforming figure).

Optimus Prime: Grey model so far, this fully articulate figure comes with a giant sword.

IDW Bomber Megatron: We only have the comic image they will be basing this fully articulated figure off of.

Shattered Glass Drift: this is a red redeco of the fully articulated Drift figure they released.

Bumblebee: Coloured images of this new model kit.

Optimus Prime : Model kit with preorders now open.

Nemesis Prime: First coloured images of this recolour of the Optimus prime kit mentionned above.

IDW Optimus: Coloured imaged of this new model kit.

IDW Autobot Megatron: Grey model of this upcoming model kit. He is seen with an autobot symbol, it is unsure if there is an option to change that to a Decepticon one.

All of these images were shown on Flame Toys' Twitter.

So much to look at...so little money to spend. Flame toys really know how to make this stuff.

Geez, that second Optimus design... could he thrust that pelvis any farther?

Autobot Megatron is an absolute must. That is awesome they are doing it.

Please please pleeeease do a Cliffjumper model kit.

I don't know what the original source is as I found this on MyFigureCollection.net, probably the HK show going by the English tag but maybe Wonder Festival.

Well that's weird, I wonder how I missed that post? Instead of relying on email notifications I go directly to the forum and jump to the last unread post on each topic. Must have been a glitch or something that took me further down the page than that.

You might have read the original Autobot Megatron post. I made that post before heading to bed, and Devastator got added onto it a bit after I posted it. so you probably missed them adding it on since you read it when it was just Megs

Ah, that would definitely have explained it. I remembered Megatron, but for the life of me couldn't remember seeing Devastator before. Started thinking I was going crazy.

Thanks to Youtuber Peaugh we have a video review for the soon to be mass released Flame Toys Furai Model Kit Attack Mode Optimus Prime! The figure, which is a roughly voyager sized in terms of height and does not transform, is a model kit very similar to Gundam models, and is heavily stylized. He comes with his trademark blaster and ax, both of which have been stylized as well. The figure is incredibly posable, with the same posability standards as the previously mentioned Gundam kits.

While the video review does not include the build itself, Peaugh does make mention of the time it took him to build, which was 3 hours, though 3 hours with interruptions, as he mentions.

A transformer that doesn't transform? HOW DARE THEY? but seriously this looks like a cool figure, not a fan of the design, but should be cool for those that like the... anime style? idk what to call it... but yeah, looks cool.

I think he would look quite good next to my gundams, he looks mg size in that regard though my current master grades are all from the F91 era and later, probably not the best height to judge on

Anime style is pretty accurate since it was designed by Akira Amemiya, best known for designing this:
