While we do not know when Transformers Rise of the Beasts will be released for home video, we do have preorders on Amazon for all its releases, including the collectible Steelbook. The cover art for that will be Prime's face in graffiti style, which was also used for posters. The other releases, which can all be accessed at the same link posted below, feature the more standard poster showing the autobot and maximal teams, done in a way to resembles the 86 movie cover.

Here is where all versions can be preordered in the US: https://www.amazon.com/dp/b0c5p7rlsc?ta ... formers-20

Did people really sour on Flash this much because of Ezra Miller's antics? I saw the movie last weekend and it was a lot of fun. Great action and comedy, and a multiverse story done as well as the last Spider-Man.

Maybe it's super hero fatigue?

I don't know, I too thought it was a very well realized film. I preffered it to ROTB, far more entertaining.

If it was a Marvel movie, sure. But DC has had far fewer features than the MCU, especially with Flash. He had only been in Justice League, AFAIK.

From what I've heard, the CGI is half-assed and Miller himself is the weakest part of the film, and there's two of him. For me it was superhero fatigue. After the Infinity Saga, both Marvel and DC seem to just be flinging crap against the wall trying to see what sticks. Had they done a Batman Beyond movie with Keaton, my ass would have been there on opening night. As it is, I don't care enough about the Flash to spend money, and the Batman scenes will find their way to the internet eventually.

Didn't bother with flash or rise of the beasts, saw the boogeyman instead. Typically weak ending but it had actors I like enough to watch in it and it wasn't going to be dross that could or has been done better (kinda anyways).

If flash had been different actors I might have seen it bit both flash tv series had their good moments ans some of the animated. If rise of the beasts had been more bumblebee 2 or unassociated with everything before Id probably still wait to see it just because of the other live actions.

I think it is partially due to Miller himself, bad word of mouth, and the fact the DC's audience has in large parts given up on it. At least Marvel as come up with stuff with more consistent and (at worst) passing quality. DC, though I personally have enjoyed some of the DCEU stuff, is just all over the place, more bad than good.

I am sad to see ROTB doing so poorly. I think it had the same problem as the DCs films, past movies caused too much brand damage (plus opening with so many blockbusters back to back certainly didn't help).

To respond to the previous comment on ROTB not having opened in every market yet, well it's opened in Oceania now and that only added 3 million.

He appeared in Batman v. Superman, too.

And had a cameo in The CW's "Crisis on Infinite Earth" 5-part Arrowverse crossover.

It also still has yet to open in Japan, which I'm also wary of how well that release will do, since it's been confirmed that that the Japanese dub director for this movie is none other than Yoshikazu Iwanami, the same man who directed the voice acting and script localization for the Japanese gag dubs that were Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Animated, Prime, and Cyberverse.

Prepare for every dramatic moment in this movie to be undercut by fourth wall jokes, many more pop culture references, severe personality changes, and oodles of gag humor.

Nightbird's being voiced by Blackarachnia's Japanese voice actor. Expect her to be one of the silliest characters in the dub.

Most of the fans would have hit the preview screenings two weeks ago. It was also the first weekend of school holidays in some States so people may have been travelling.

Plus you know ... every other movie out there at the moment.

For me, that absolutely WAS the reason why I didn't see The Flash. But I can't speak for everyone. For some it is fatigue. For some, they may have felt that it just wasn't a very interesting premise, even without seeing the film.

It truly is a shame, because in my heart I really am more of a DC fan than Marvel. But for DC they just can't seem o get there movies right most of the time. Their animated features on DVD were great in the early 2010's, but they went downhill as well.

Not everyone will agree, but Quantumania was the first time I even felt any slight bit of *fun* toward a live-action superhero film since No Way Home, and then Endgame before that.

For DC it has been longer. the back-to-back fun of the first Aquaman then Shazam was pretty awesome, btu then nothing after that was any good.

I had very, VERY low expectations for RoTB. But was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't brilliant, but it harkened back to the first live-action film in that it just tried to tell a story and be entertaining. And in that , I feel it succeeded.

I know there were 3 reasons I didn't see Flash:

1) Ezra Miller
2) most DC live action movies are not to my taste and i have not enjoyed them
3) It looked bad

And another reason what factors in:

DC universe is rebooting. Why invest in a story that will have no future?

And from what I've heard, the Necromancy was done with very poor taste, and the Michael Keaton stuff and plot overall was what people thought No Way Home would be: entirely for show and no tell that contributed to the story.

There was literally no reason to see it.

As for Rise of the Beasts, they really did not do a good job with placement of the movie on the schedule. If they had waited to release it until this past weekend, or even in 2 more weeks, it may have done better. Going against 2 superhero movies and a Pixar film was just not a smart choice, and outside of Spiderverse it seems movies are really struggling this month anyways.

I am at least glad that they already all but announced Rise of the Beasts will be getting a sequel. I really did love the movie, and it is still tied with DotM as my favorite of the TF movies.

THis exactly. But I also factor in the rise of the digital streaming services offering the movies at home very quickly- I have to wonder how long movie theaters will remain viable.

Can someone tell me if ROTB picked their date before or after Flash and Spidey? I have a feeling they picked first, and the other two studios added their dates afterwards.

So, spur of the moment, went and saw this in theaters. Yes, wheeljack was done dirty. But I very much enjoyed it. The humans weren't overplayed. Felt organic. Robots felt a bit clustered at times. Wish Rhinox had his chain guns. More primal bot mode would have been cool.

But still, one of the best in my opinion.

You know how I knew I was going to love Scourge in the movie? The way they did this opening, and the introduction to Scourge in the dark forest. It was such an awesome scene.
