Edit: Also interesting that Overload appears to go from the knees to the noggin. So instead of Scavenger and Overload being an upper/lower torso combination, they are more like a front/back torso combination. Hmmm, I wonder if that kind of combo could work for the generations line and 6 team combiners...

Hopefully we’ll see what Devastator looks like in the gorilla pose and maybe some new figures like Sentinel later today.

Both London and Paris comic con are happening the same day and hasbro is attending both so we are bound to see something.

Cool! I’m hoping we’ll see Sentinel and Roadbuster in particular.
Also, I just had a really cool idea - Scavenger’s robot mode doesn’t scale with SS (If he was in scale it’d have to be something like a commander class), but It looks like Scavenger might scale perfectly with the DOTM cyberverse figures!

Shuttershock wrote:I wonder who contributes the extra barrel that bulks out the neck?
It’s either Scrapper or Overload, and considering the size I’ll bet it’s Overload.

Just an update, there will be nothing new revealed at Paris Comiccon.

Something new, not CW, but similar.

Possibly unpopular opinion: this IS this current design teams' magnum opus; a titan+ class movie devastator, that's at least semi-poseable, and looks amazing all whilst still having excellent individual figures all of whom have rather great vehicle modes as well, with nothing - save scale - being compromised? You cannot convince me that this isn't their greatest work yet, this shouldn't have come out looking this great, but, here we are

Why would that be an unpopular opinion, it checks out.

I'd imagine it doesn't help that the SS Constructicons themselves have a picture of Devastator with a gray face on the sides of their boxes.

I'll be honest, I'm so used to remembering the grey that I didn't even think it was note worthy

Yeah, it's definitely impressive. I haven't had high hopes for the combined mode because of just how hard I imagine it to be, but it's looking like it'll at least be decent, which is impressive. You look at some of the figures like Long Haul and wonder how they didn't get it right before, which is a sign that the newest design really works and makes sense.
I do wish they had gone the extra mile to keep some things from the prototype though. I would really like to see his firepower in robot mode, and Hightowers cable is something that there's no reason to not include except cutting cost.

My Rampage’s shoulders are fairly stiff, so you’re just cursed.

To imagine it going down a street and gobbling up any poor human it came across at high speeds would make for a unique Decepticon.
Maybe he could be the guy who eats materials and energy to convert into energon for other Decepticons.

SS-51 Soundwave with Laserbeak (Dark of the Moon) and SS-52 Arcee, Chromia, and Elita-1: 3-Pack which are three small figures sold at the deluxe price. The wave 8 voyagers will be SS-53 Constructicon Mixmaster (Revenge of the Fallen) and SS-54 Megatron (from the first film).
Speaking of Mixmaster, a video review has been uploaded. We thank MadProject for letting us know.

I just noticed that Soundwave also has some molded detail inside the folding headlight pieces to help show some more of the speakers from the CGI model, so that’s cool!

Ig89ninja wrote:Am I the only one who is amused at how short Mixmaster is compared to the other Constructicons? The video makes him look like he’s just as tall as “Ze Little One”.
Fun fact in the actual movie Mixamaster is shorter then Scrapmetal, so this is accurate to the movie scale.
Which makes Scaple's orders either disobeyed or a continuity error

And having now opened him and started to mess with him, how the hell is it possible that the $30 Studio series figure is better than the $100 MP???

Glad you’re liking him! Yeah, I think it looks better than the MPM too. Currently up there for my favorite Studio Series figure and one of my favorite figures in general!

Hearing that makes me realize why MPM Ironhide's $50 on BBTS right now

locking shoulders lol.... I'm in the same boat... had originally skipped the voyager because I didn't like their lack of doing *anything* with the front bumper... but after being "less than thrilled" with the MP... my local target stocked him again, and decided "screw it" I've basically got the cast @ SS and MP size (which I was originally trying to prevent... (oops).

-Scavenger's bottom wheel (the one that splits in two) is supposed to go on the side of his head, each half replicating those tubes he has on his shoulder.
-Mixmaster's arms/cement barrel connects to the barrel piece that goes behind Devastator's head.
-Scavenger's other wheel folds down on his back, replicating his Vortex grinder.

Also, I was rereading the posts after the Devastator pictures, and despite the mistransformations and the fact that there is so much prototype still in there, there was no negativity about it, which was super refreshing!

They do not. They are essentially 3 legion class figures in a deluxe package
