Anybody curious what a Transformers Convention made by Hasbro and Reed Pop looks like? Twitter users @Spikeart and @52 took pictures of the convention staff settign up CybertronCon 2016, Shanghai's official Transformers convention, and it looks glorious. The central hub is a giant recreation of G1 Fortress Maximus' city mode, with ramps and all. You can also spot a whole section commemorating Beast Wars for its 20th anniversary. Also, you can see the signing area for each Transformers designer, beautifully adorned with their greatest creations. It is ironic how the pictures for Hasui's booth at this Hasbro convention focus on his Masterpiece toys and include Sideswipe, who was never released by Hasbro.

This gives us a good indication at what may come in the future for a Transformers convention in the US, like the fact that there is no section for sellers.

This being an official Transformers convention means that we may have some new toy announcements. We have yet to see official reveals for many Titans Return toys that are coming out first quarter 2017 and the New York Comiccon would be far too close to their release date. So hopefully this is where they will be revealed.

Wow, that massive Fortress Maximus looks VERY cool! Finally we get a FM in scale with the rest of the G1 figures

Well that's absolutely awesome. Giant Fort Max FTW! The Beast Wars booth has me intrigued. I imagine those glass cases are going to display past product but I wonder if that's all.

ok, G1 artwork of the Dinobots, does this mean they are getting some love now? As I'm thinking about it, they could work well in Titans Return, I mean, the G1 Dinobots had the Diaclone cockpits built in, Imagine them all including Titan Masters to ride them.

I spot Milne and Figueroa art but it looks like its 70% G1 and 30% BW themes. G1 is really "dead" it seems.
