Flame Toys Announce Furai Models Windblade Preorder

I like her enough I've preordered her from two separate sites (in case anything goes wrong with either, and also because I like how this looks that much). One will be Windblade herself whilst the other will be kitbashed into someone else. As she has very little in the way of integrated plane kibble she could be made into basically anyone...hmmm. I have an idea...

This may be my first ever Flame Toys purchase ever.
Once the preorders for her are live at a Canadian online store, I'm so preordering!

I've got a pre-order in place for Windblade. 'Bee will be happy he's no longer alone.

Pre-ordered. I remember I used to hate Windblade, but now I have a lot of her on a shelf. Same with Barricade.

Greetings Seibertronians! Officially licensed third party company, Flame Toys, have recently taken to their social media channels to promote their upcoming Shattered Glass Drift Furai Model Kit! To this end they furnished their posts with several new images! We get a good look at the box art and all the runners for the kit that you'll be using to make this fantastic, non-transforming, model.











Shattered Glass Drift is based from the Shattered Glass concept, popularised by the Mirror Universe from the Star Trek franchise and introduced to Transformers via the BotCon 2008 set. Drift here is depicted as being part of the Villainous Autobots.

Flame Toys got sloppy in engineering at the lower legs & feet. Otherwise it looks perfect.

Weibo user Notrab shared some images of the upcoming Transformers Optimus Primal figure.

This is from Flame Toys' "budget" line, called the Furai Action line and it is a fully assembled figure. This is a slight reimagining of the character in their style. I comes with a mutant mask head, which is also slightly reimagined, along with some weapons. You'll let us know what you think.

That battle mask is awesome!

It's just unfortunate that this BAD-ASS Primal is not transformable. It wouldn't add that many parts to make him transform in ape mode. I really want to see how the ape would look.

It's growing on me since the unpainted prototype that was a bit generic. Not a must have, hopefully master made will get round to some super deformed from other tf lines as a sd Primal with adjustabl facial expressions (bot and beast) would be awesome.

He's nice, but I'll wait for the model kit. Not paying $175 for this.

Greetings Seibertronians! Flame Toys taken to their Twitter account to give us more images of their Kuro Kara Kuri Victory Leo to salivate over!

These new images show him with his box and also include two messages images of him combined with their previously released, Star Saber! The indominating looking Victory Saber is a re-imagined combined form for the pair.

That's monstrously BAD ASS!

Fans with room and money to spare are in for a treat!

Getting major Yuusha/Brave vibes there, and the boots actually look decent in this configuration! I like how the lion legs form bracing stabilizers (presumably to absorb the recoil of those cannons) on his boots, and the lion chest is a great addition to the design. A shame I'm not in the market for this, because it does look cool.

Flame Toys' Opitmus Primal toy is going to be released very soon. At just shy of $200, many fans are hesitant, so we want to give you as much info as we have on the product. Yeah, this is what the original combination should have looked like. Far more creative than just turning Victory Leo into a backpack and boots for Star Saber.

If you're a big fan (or even a moderate fan) of Flame Toys' Transformers Furai Model line then there's some good news coming your way! The company officially announced Friday from the ACG HK 2021 event that the latest entries to the plastic model line will be Bludgeon and Banzaitron! For some this is the most ideal use of the Furai Model line: a Pretender and an Action Master. And no, they don't share any parts, the two martial arts masters will be entirely new sets of molds. Like many Furai Models the pair is designed by Akira Amemiya of Studio Trigger, but lack his trademark stylizations (See: Optimus Prime (Attack Mode), Starscream and Devastator). More as we learn it!

In other news, the SDCC 2021 Furai Model G1 Nemesis Prime exclusive is now available to order at Bluefin for the reasonable price of $40 even. He comes with all the same accessories as the Optimus Prime kit, stands 6" tall and has 40 points of articulation. Release is expected to be August 15, 2021 meaning you wont have to wait long to get the evil doppelganger in your collection.
