Flame Toys Reveal Coloured Images of Kuro Kara Kuri Starscream

This Starscream look a bit too Gundamesque but he does look pretty bad-ass.
I'll never buy him because of the price, but I'm still looking forward the finished product.

I agree,Gundam is one of the first things that come to mind when looking at this design.

It is a bit, isn't it? I generally don't like the whole "more anime inspired Transformer = Gundam" attitude but that has definite vibes of, like, Gundam 00. It does still look very cool though, even if I'd have preferred the Furai Model design given more planey details and extra paint (and obviously more Kuro Kara Kuri love in general).

Funny thing is every bit of original model concept art and the prototype above showed her from behind, but this time they seem to be being careful about how they pose her.

Anyway, the wings were always my primary issue so I'm happy with this. I also like that they made the gold headpiece more visible from the front.

The first thing I noticed was the amount of care they took in posing.
I may purchase this one if it's a reasonable price.

Starscream really looks like how Sara Pitre-Durocher drew him in TAAO using his PotP toy has a go-by. It looks good

Eh, the guns do look a little Gundam like, but I don't really see it for the rest of the figure. If anything I see a stylized take on CW Leader Starscream with Leader Jetfire's backpack.

I didn't noticed the guns at all. It's the legs that scream "Gundam".

The overall look as well take some heavy inspirations.
It's not a bad thing to be honest. Way better than the "happy crotches" of the kits.

Also the backpack from Jetfire helps complete the red pylons of G1 Starscream.

For me the legs scream PotP Starscream, most Gundam don't have cankles like that.

Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron users, Powered Convoy and Fires_of_Inferno, has tipped us off that Flame Toys have just revealed another new entry into their Furai model kit line up! This time it's Arcee!



Arcee shares the same designer as their recently shown off Windblade figure, and you can certainly see the same design cues when looking at them. While recent Arcee transforming toys have caused a debate amongst fans, this figure (while not screen accurate) won't have that issue being a non-transforming model kit! So no worrying about her being a shell former with a bulky backpack!

No doubt Flame Toys will keep us updated when Arcee will be available to preorder!

Cute! Now I just have to decide what cheap car kit to chop up to make her look like she transforms into something.

Maybe it's because it's a static drawing, but she's looks kind of boring to me. Maybe the prototype model will make me more excited.
What I would like to see is the statue from a few years released.

There are already people tweeting at Hasbro about this (https://twitter.com/Log_log5/status/1349742266534023174) in their outrage.

Not sure about Arcee just yet, so I'll wait until images of the prototype drop. I would have preferred them doing Nautica though.
