Seriously, I still think Chicago, Bloomington-Normal (college town...bars everywhere!), or Indianapolis would be ideal. It really only makes sense to have it in the Midwest as we are the only region to not have our own independent TF con...which sucks BTW.

And guys, no matter where Botcon is, you should make a point to go if you never have. Trust me, it's worth it!

... Still about to mess my pants...

You only go to Botcon for the toys? ...which you can buy online anyway?

First off, it is a LOT cheaper to get the toys from attending Botcon itself.
Secondly, as you said, the fun of Botcon goes well beyond the toys!

Never said that.
But if my happy ass is gonna be taking off work and driving out of state(cause face it...it won't be in Kansas), I would at least like my souvenirs to be from a line that I care for.
And before it gets mentioned yes, I'm aware that there are a large number of dealer tables to fill my toy needs...but i could buy those online as well
who knows, they may even produce an animated set that i like

If you hate the toys, there are a gazoodle of people who will take them off your hands (and you can double your money). If you have never been to a Botcon you really need to go, I can't stress that enough. It's about a lot more than the toys/dealer tables, you have to go to understand.
The Seibertron parties/hangouts are worth the trip alone.

You need to keep it positive, man. You're not big...you're LEADER CLASS

I consider that an honor, thanks.

Oh my god, man, I thought I was gonna fall out of my chair. That was hilarious, Del. I'm just thinking of all the ways I could apply the class scale to other things in conversation. "Well, you see, this cheeseburger is deluxe, it even says so. But this one over here, that's a Voyager burger!"

I thought you were wearing that on your wedding day, weren't you?

Most of the friends that I made at the con live more than 2000 miles from me so I am looking forward to seeing them. It is a shame that I have to wait 6 or more months to see them.

Thanks, the credit for thatr sig belongs to Geekee1, who is quickly becoming one of the best sigmakers on this board.
I totally know what you mean about catching up with all the Botcon people. I've been fortunate to see Counterpunch, Geekee1 and Prime Evil since and have also met Soundstang. However, I miss hanging with people like you, Savage, Fender Bender, First Gen, Flux Convoy and many more.
But yeah, the time between these Botcons is really really dragging.

Ooooh, name dropping! I am hoping all those people will be at the con (and all the wives and gf's) and we all get to hang together again. I will have my spouse and awesome teens with me who will be doing their own things. I like hanging out with the invited Botcon guests too.

I also have a feeling that a lot more Seibertronians will be attending Botcon this year, so we'll all have new friends to make as well. I'm looking forward to meeting your family (and of course Jaime will be back with me as well)

Time is really dragging, I'll agree with you there, so since I live here in Central Florida, everyone is invited to come visit. Especially when you all get tired of the cold.
I hope to make more use of my camera next year. I'd like a better picture taken with Simon F. too. I looked aweful in the one that CP posted in that group of pics.
Gotta fill my time doing something, so planning something special for the con would be fun. If anyone wants to help to plan something, you can PM me with ideas.

The wait is driving me nuts. I think it'll start going by faster once we start getting info about BotCon. Location, names and pictures of exclusives. I am so there.

Pictures of exclusives? I just want to see the 25th anniversary toys.
But if you want a teaser for the con, then think about this:
"For one young autobot".
