they probably have some sale going on. They did the same thing with MP Thundercracker. He was like $50 when he first hit the website. And it is the time of year when TRU makes it's highest profit, so it wouldn't surprise me if they put some unmentioned sale on them to move stock quickly and hope people buy other things with them

Damn, should have gotten Thundercracker instead of Halo 4, had I known that. Not that Halo 4 is bad, but this is Thundercracker we're talking about...

It depends where the store is located. I'm in NYC, and Times Square is the closest store to me, so I'm obviously hit by sky high prices.

When I go to my folks house in NJ, the 2 TRUs over there are cheaper. So I try to time my purchases to coincide with visits. It's all a collector can do.
