Hasbro Builds Programs with Leading Publishers to Bring TRANSFORMERS and MY LITTLE PONY Collectible Gift Books to Market for 2013 Holiday Season

HAS +0.30% today announced that it has signed publishing agreements with becker&mayer and IDW Publishing, and reached agreement in principal with Little, Brown Books for Young Children, to create and publish collectible gift books that blend unique storytelling with exclusive art based on the TRANSFORMERS and MY LITTLE PONY brands. Books will begin to arrive into the marketplace for the summer/winter season, and expand upon the robust publishing program for both of these brands.

-- TRANSFORMERS 30th Anniversary Comic Collection by IDW Publishing Collecting 30 influential comics from across 30 years of TRANSFORMERS history, this handsome hardcover volume draws from multiple timelines and continuities, including classic Generation One, the live action movies, TRANSFORMERS ANIMATED, and more.

-- TRANSFORMERS: The Ultimate Pop-Up Universe by Little, Brown and Company New York Times Bestseller Matthew Reinhart brings fans the quintessential TRANSFORMERS Pop-Up experience. Celebrate the history, heroes, and villains of the TRANSFORMERS universe in this ultimate 3-D masterpiece. The TRANSFORMERS and MY LITTLE PONY collectible books are expected to arrive on shelves soon with an approximate price range of $17.00 to $99.00.
