Easiest pass ever.

I think she looks great. Happy to ad her to my other fellow Camiens,

She's a non-cartoon character, doesn't come from G1 AND is a fembot. Getting even a retool is a pretty big deal.

I think the biggest problem is that her headshape relies on side detailing, so the TR line isn't a great fit.

Looks okay enough, if I need to I could probably customize a little.

based on what's been revealed so far for TR Deluxes, there are probably only 4-5 reveals left (going by the presumption that there will be 6 waves)...if there are more then that's great but...I would think that there is a strong case for the 1987 Autobot Targetmasters to be at least 3 of those, in fact they may be the only 3 (if later waves have fewer new figures)...other than perhaps a special deluxe included in what is assumed will be 2 more Box Sets to be revealed later. I'd personally like to see some more deluxes, even though I personally am not collecting them, I do enjoy seeing the variety.

Yeah, this is the box set time mostly. CW had G2 Superion, G2 Menasor, G2 Bruticus, Victorion, Computron, and a Platinum edition Leokaiser, so we can assume that there will be more than 4 TR box sets.

Personally what I imagine they'll do is have another box set based on ariel speed, and have a certain flying retool of Fastlane, along with a certain purple recolor of Windblade. Also I can imagine it'd come with a recolor of Black SHadow into Metalhawk.

Metalhawk was shown at Toy Fair, as a straight recolor of Triggerhappy with a new face/head. There was also Botcon Metalhawk from the Thunderwing/Black Shadow mold a few years back. Besides, I doubt they'd make a leader class figure out of him. They already have Overlord and Black Shadow from it.

While not a perfect rendition of Nautica, the fact that we got a toy of a comic-only fembot is pretty cool. I could have hoped for an all new mold, but as is, it's okay. I do wish that they'd used the Brainstorm retooling on the front piece (sans the guns), and that the purple on top of her shoulders was the shade of purple they'd used on the rest of the figure, though.

Exactly I'm surprised they made her at all and with any amount of retooling.

Especially since this character is still relatively new if anything I would of expected a toy of her after 5 years or as a Hascon exclusive.

I'd reverse the placing of the remaining clones, really: Cloudraker for Fireblast (Firepower is no longer acceptable, since the 2000's), and Wingspan for Intelligence. I'm saying that because Wingspan's original function is Data Processor, and even has a rating of 9 in that area.

Always thought that courage was a useless stat to have in there it's not really something you can judge by a number.

When I was a kid I had no idea what they meant by skill considering the other stats were skills to be honest I still don't the only thing I can think of is Agility which can also be part of speed

His 3d render looks bad but the actual figure shown at Toyfair looks pretty good!

all one really needs to do is to cut the hand guns off here is an example of a custom that does that.

Count the times one runs away during a fight.

And skill... I'd define that as how well you can use what's given to you, like weapons or ones alt mode. Whirl's antics score pretty high on that.

Maybe it's the late hour, the fact I've had a long day or that I'm just going batsh*t crazy, but with some modding to the wings, plane nosecone and the titan master, Windblade could actually work nicely as Nautica.....

You are absolutely right. Which makes the Blurr remold even worse.

That Pharma is amazing. I think I might have another thing to add to the list of customs I'll never actually do but like to think I will do.

I just kinda want Anode out of Windblade. I'm probably the only one on this site who wants that but damn if the wing shape in robot mode doesn't work.

It's still a cheap repaint that still looks way too much like Blurr to look anything like Nautica.

Cheetimus is a god when it comes to making custom figures.

His paint work is glorious and Botcon has even commissioned him in the past to make some of their ideas to see how it would work.

Ohhhh, I would be SO up for that! Vector was either my second or third Transformer ever, so a toy of him would be guaranteed to push my buttons enough to buy whatever box-set it'd be in, regardless what else it featured. From a practical perspective his head design is also pretty blocky so I don't think the TM gimmick would prove to be too much of an issue.

Plus if we can somehow get a Thundertron out of the mold too, then all the old bearded spaceship-lion-guys can hang out together.

(Though I'm not sure if we ever got a rumor of Vector Prime, or if it was just an idea floating around due to the number of shared details between this new mold and VP's original one - which, as was pointed out, is probably more due to A3's previous con-exclusive toy from that mold.)


As for Nautica, those pictures actually do make me feel a little more charitable toward her. She's still nowhere near "fantastic" to me, but since I'm going to be trying to get that box-set anyway I'm glad that I don't hate that figure as much now as I did before.

Since they're placing the Super Ginrai remold in one of the box sets, hopefully they'll stick Godbomber in one of them too. It would've been great if they were in the same set but whatever.

Getting Godbomber in one of the other box-sets is about as much a sure thing as getting Voyager Horrorcons in a line that features triple-changing Headmaster Voyagers.

Which is to say it should be a no-brainer when you first think about it, but the more new information that comes out the more worrying the situation gets.

We really cant. There are 4 clones and 4 tech stats in titans return. Everything leads to there being 4 boxsets. There might be more, of course, but we really cant assume there will be, we can only hope.

As was the case with TR Kup, I wouldn't be able to recognize this toy unless you told me. That's just not a believable head for her. HftD Tomahawk's head looks more like Nautica than this.

Nautica looks good. Wish they would have modded the chest and front end a bit, but it's one of the better TR molds and relatively easy to de-headmaster.

Exactly. That's kinda what kills the toy for me, and makes me want to just hand it to one of my siblings if I get this set. That and the fact that it's a PURPLE BLURR.

Overlord and Nautica both suffer from a severe lack of lips.

Way back when they first announced tr windblade (you know like a month ago) I noticed that she shared parts and a transformation scheme with scourge, whose altmode is similar to nautica's. Knowing that, I bought a cheap scourge to Frankenstein together with her to make an actually good nautica.

I figure that I can keep most of scourge the same and fit windblade's torso on it, add in a shapeways tm face (already bought) and paint, and I'll have a pretty good figure.

It would help a lot if you explained what you meant. I believe the colour placement will remain the same but depending on the plastic used it can give a different result as to what clour stands out or how shiney it is.
