As the first licensed item by HASBRO, HERO OF STEEL – OPTIMUS PRIME will meet you all at HKACG15. ASIAGOAL is our official distributor and the prototype of this (in Grey primer) will be displayed at their booth (C18-21) in the show.There will be special offer for anyone pre-order this OPTIMUS PRIME at the show. More details will be announced shortly.

Yup. Basically when a company has no experience in a certain field or finds the development of a certain product to risky, outsourcing part of it to a different company with more experience in that field is the way to go. Hasbro has plenty of experience in Toys, but for fan-oriented products they turn to companies like FunPub and other manufacturers of such items to mitigate the risk. I do wonder if it was commissioned by Hasbro, or if ORITOY presented the design and asked Hasbro for the license.

Hero of Steel Optimus Prime is a stylized non transforming figure with over 40 points of articulation. He stands 9 inches tall and will include some die-cast parts. This figure is priced at $139.99. We also have a special version that comes with a mini Megatron pistol priced at $159.99.
