After the brutal battle in Egypt, Starscream has gone into hiding and escaping the radar sensors of the Autobots. According to reliable intelligence, a F22 Jet Fighter with alien tatoo has been spotted in Asia, Singapore to be exact.
On a serious note, Hunt For The Decepticons Leader Class Starscream toys are available at the hobby shops in Singapore as Energon member Mach has got his hand on this highly anticipated figure.

Still boggles my mind how Hasbro can produce such a fantastic version of ROTF Starscream, but can only muster up trainwrecks (at best, IMO) out of their flagship Deception, Megatron.

It's because Hasbro designs their figures during development of the movie, so as to release figures when the movie comes out. If you'll notice, Leader class figures (being the most detailed) made after a movie is released (Brawl and Starscream), as well as figures of characters whose designs haven't changed between movies (Optimus Prime) are generally phenomenal.
Meanwhile, characters who have not had finalized designs by the time Hasbro has to make the figures, generally have highly inaccurate designs (Movie Megatron, Movie Optimus, ROTF Megatron, and Jetfire). I'd say it's safe to expect a highly accurate toy for Megatron for the next film, unless his design drastically changes again.
