The artists create covers based on instructions given to them. At most, she might have had some choice in the floating background heads. Maybe. Probably not.Rodimus Prime wrote:I like her as an artist, but this piece is underwhelming. Not only is it not original, it looks like a draft instead of a finished product. As for the arms, I think it's all a matter of perspective. However, if she had to use a previous work as a starting point, she should have gone with the TFTM poster, considering the story is about Unicron. Just replace Magnus with Prime, and the surrounding G1 characters with the IDW ones that are involved.
I think Marvel TF #1 has a wacky, bad looking cover anyways and that Pitre-Durocher did an excellent job adapting her style to something radically different from her usual output.
