Hadn't been following the old school Marvel reprints, and while it's good to recolor the B&W stuff that would be in volume 1, the UK's coloring was always better than the US stuff, so I don't think it really needed it.
Is the first volume out already? Please tell me they didn't recolor them to be cartoon-accurate. Fixing mistakes is one thing, but different continuities have different color schemes; there's not supposed to be one correct version.

I like what I see in the 2 TF G-1 on-goings comics in 2012.
I'm gonna opt to buy them both in june 2012 via Trade paper backs. I'd rather enjoy reading these in a few hours than reading them month by month. i'm just not a fan of cliff hanger stuff anymore. in the past (currently right now) I use to by these IDW TF comics monthly via individual issues. I no longer think the IDW TF On-going comics are worth buying every month & since their not that great I can wait 6 months for the trade paper backs.

ill be honest and say im not all that thrilled with the new directions apparent aims.
but i'll give it a chance.
certainly roberts is worth taking the chance on and with his book going into space its got "universe building" stamped all over it so im interested to see what political organisations and worlds he gives us. christ knows he's been bangning on about the galactic council for long enough for us to finally see em.
but i just CANT belive that prowl aint on his book. FFS if there was ONE THING people raved about it was how roche/roberts handled prowl. i thought it would be a no brainer he'd be on his book but by the look of the solicit barber's got him.
with a bit of luck they might find a way around it that isnt retarded so we can get some more of that goodness.
