Wow, I've never seen a company reveal so many projects at once. How are they going to get these out in a timely manner?

so thats def cosmos on the bottom right...

I'm thinking the top row is Beachcomber, Brawn, and Windcharger. The bottom row is fairly obvious, Pipes, Powerglide, and Cosmos.

I think you are spot on.

So I'm guessing :

Seaspray (revealed), Beachcomber, Brawn, Brawn repaint
Huffer (revealed), Pipes, Powerglide, Cosmos


Looks like we'll be having a dual of the minibots coming up!

I'm still waiting to see how PE's Wheelie will look. Less G1 probably, but so far I love their redo of some characters. Liking what I do see and have seen so far from the con. Only going to be getting what I need however. I won't need any Seaspray's or Powerglides. Hasbro/Tak has that covered.

Wheelie was my second guess behind Windcharger. Which would be fine by me since WC already has a nice classic incarnation.

I'm hoping they do actually. But like you also, I haven't heard anything since the original news about it. Since then, it's been hush hush. I still think it's coming since the lineart looked like a finished prototype. But what the hell do I know.

Wait, what? Both iGear and FP are doing minibots? Hmm... I guess it will fall to whomever has the most affordable versions. I'm betting it will be Fansproject.

I think "MakeToy" is FansProject side/sister company. I believe that they did this because MakeToy will probably be really close to IP infringement and should something go wrong, it's still a separate entity from FansProject.

I may be passing on MakeToy's stuff since so far I don't need Seaspray or Powerglide.

I'm having a Dejavue moment from 2009 here. Let's hope iGear won't get bored from designing all this stuff and then not producing it in the end like the last time they announced so many products in one go.

I don't think so, they where just displayed together on a TFSource table showcasing 3rd party products, if you look at the pics you can even see iGear's MP Ramjet boxes next to FP's Insecticons, and the BTS stuff like the matrix pack.

But these are both too small for the scale of my collection. I hope the next few are appropriate at their size.

You and me both buddy! I loved the minibots, growing up in a home of modest means these were some of the few TF's I could get a hold of without the benefit of a special occasion like Christmas or a Bday. Glad they are getting so much attention.

A lot of my childhood G1 figures were minibots too for the same reason, hehe.

The reason why it is out of scale for me is because I am trying to keep a semi-realistic theme in my collection where all vehicle modes are in scale with each other (seperately for each faction). Can't have a tiny hovercraft next to a giant sports car. Definitely great looking figures though, and I am jealous of those who are able to get them
And when i said I hope the next few are appropriate for their size, I meant that their alt modes make sense with the rest of my classics.

i will def be gettin powerglide, beachcomber and cosmos. im not too sure about huffer yet. i hope one of them is brawn though. that would be cool.

If one of them turns out to indeed be Wheelie then I will most likely get him (subject to a release by Perfect Effect. And with Buzzer and Lazer due out any week now a new reveal from them seems imminent.)

While I have no issues with Minibots of varying sizes I do prefer Bumblebee to be my second smallest (at least joint second). But I do really want a complete team of Minibots, so I hope these are amazing.

Both parties Minibots look really good. I'm really hoping FP makes a bangin' Warpath. I am still kinda let down by Generations Warpath (head only, the rest is money)

Lookin' forward to Wheelie and Cosmos too! Oh, and Beachcomber! Honestly, all of them including a new inscale-with BB and CJ to go along with the new line.

That is the whole reason I bought firetrap. He looks more like the perfect substitute 'Classics' Brawn than the actual Delxue class Brawn figure they came out with. However, displaying Brawn, Firetrap and Breacher side-by-side makes for a pretty darn intimidating looking group of 'Bots but yes, Firetrap does make the perfect 'Brawn' figure.

Agree 100%. Thank god I'm not the only one that thinks it doesn't look right.

it is a pity hasbro couldn't out this themselves i fear they'll start cracking down on these 3rd party companies because to be honest there making hasbro look bad. over the last 12 month i've brought more 3rd figures and accessory kits than ever before. i can't wait for i-gear to improve on classics ravage(fingers crossed) then the rest of the cassettes.

Could the one that you indicate as Pipes be Gears?

Any word about the status of the Minibot battle between MakeToys and iGear? I think MakeToys may actually have the better Sea Spray mold but they definitely blew it with the screw in Powerglide's forehead.
