It appears the rumoured BOTCON 2006 exclusive pre-Beast Wars Megatron figure is indeed genuine!

S250 of TFW2005 has posted an image of BOTCON Megatron in robot mode stood alongside the previously revealed BOTCON Optimus Primal. As you can see he is indeed a repaint of Cybertron Defence Red Alert with a remoulded head.
