This sacrifice has to be worth, twenty or thirty extra dollars.
USD, that is. None of this Canadian Monopoly money, loonies and toonies nonsense.
I actually like the look of Canadian currency.

Ever heard of Canadian Tire money? That is very useful when it comes to bribing Eastern-European officials.

Yup! I bought some topsoil today at the local Canadian Tire. I probably have a few dollars with of CT money.

It's beautiful! The colours of the rainbow are encompassed in Canadian currency and if you wish real hard and think happy thoughts, it's worth something!

Maybe that's why the US currency gets pretty colors now.

Why can't they just have the same stuff everywhere? I dunno, what with EZ Sideways, Voyager Mixmaster and now this (not to mention Incinerator, Nightwatch Prime and the deluxe dune buggy for the last movie), it's getting expensive with all these Japanese variants.

Time for people to buy this and customize it to make it a reality.

Hasbro said that they made this giant to be more accurate to the movie, they said that if the individually robots has more than one mode beside veicule mode they wont be perfect. So just one question: What happen to the number 7 constructicon the red truck? In the movie i saw 7 Constructicons so where's number seven? The EZ Devastator is much smaller cheaper and it's more accurate than this over expensive robot.

While the red on the head sculpt is more screen accurate, I like the Hasbro all-grey face Supreme Devastator.

pics.?????, there is likely to be not more than a 100,00,000 of those U.S.A
more than 9000. I'm not sure. I went to ask this Japan girl if she knew if any of those will come here. she didn't know she said she would ask someone she knows to get them here. it's most likely that you can't get
those in stores. you maybe have to pre-order it. I'm not sure. there's a
slight chance that you can get them here. but for Japan and China. I'm sure there's a 100,000,00,000,00,000 mile long mine of them. Not sure. it
might be a good idea to pre-order it that just get bags ready travel to
Japan get it then get out, so just pre-order it.

Yup. I assume part of the reason for Supreme Devastator's mechanical design is because the sheer mass of its combined form likely requires specialized parts for support rather than normal figures-that-turn-into-bodyparts.
So I understand the resulting design of Supreme Devastator but to me, some of the fun of a combiner is the individual robots. When I look at combiner sets, I look at it as getting twice the amount of toys as there are individual figures(alt+bot modes) plus 1(the combined form). There's so much potential for display and play with that amount of options. It's why I would rather have the EZ Collection Devastator set rather than the Supreme version.

So lets see how much the greedy Jap company will ask for this one...my guess $250 US dollars.

If I were to speculate, I would say that the Supreme Devastator is more aimed at little kids, can you imagine the horror the parents would've gone through if each had a robot form?

Also, y'know, it's movie accuracy. For a bunch of people that are always complaining that the figures aren't movie-accurate, you all sure seem to overlook when it actually is. In the movie (if I recall correctly, which I think I do) there were two sets of constructicons. One that went vehicle-to-Devastator, and another that went vehicle-to-individual-robots. That's why we don't have individual figures for each of the seperate constructicons, because they weren't all there in the movie. Only Long Haul, Mixmaster, that jackhammer one whose name I forget, and the steamshovel whose name I forget were actually there.
Same thing goes for the Jazz figure from the first movie. When you think about it, his weapon was one of the most screen-accurate ones. Instead of holding his gun like a G1 figure would've, his was part of his arm, much like it was in the movie.
Posted by Convotron on September 21st, 2009 @ 4:48pm CDT
I personally assess Transformers from the movie line looking for a balance of movie accuracy and design as a toy. If I can get a decent ratio of both factors, I'm happy. Supreme Devastator just doesn't do it for me as a combiner toy. It's just a huge figure that is composed of different parts that can separate. The design of the character is cool, though.
