Wave 4 Deluxe
Skids and Mudflap (Ice Cream Truck Version)
AUTOBOT SKIDS and MUDFLAP have always been close, but this is a little ridiculous. Equipped with experimental combination technology, they use their newfound ability to help the other AUTOBOTS® hunt rogue DECEPTICONS® wherever they hide. Unfortunately, they have so much difficulty hanging onto each other in vehicle mode that they spend more time struggling to stay on the road then they do fighting.
Jolt
JOLT loves to cause trouble. More than one group of DECEPTICONS has watched in confusion as JOLT, all alone, raced around them in circles, taunting them. They're not used to AUTOBOTS acting crazy. Little do they know that it really is just an act - part of a plan to lure his enemies in close where he can deliver a crippling blow with his electro-whips.
Dead End
Creepy, dark, and depressed, DEAD END has few friends, even among the DECEPTICONS®. He usually hangs out in the darkest corner of the room, where his eyes can glow to their greatest effect. He never speaks, unless it’s to say something gloomy. The other DECEPTICONS avoid him, which suits him just fine. The only time they’re useful to him is when they’re recharging, and he can sneak up on them to drain energy.
Blazemaster
There are a lot of AUTOBOTS® who think BLAZE MASTER is a little haywire. He likes to hover over DECEPTICON® squads, letting them notice him, and relying on his defensive systems to protect him from their fire. It isn’t until his targets notice him that he drops his payload of corrosive gel right on their heads. Watching a bunch of DECEPTICONS® break into a panicked sprint while their armor smokes and melts is what he lives for.
Wave 5 Voyagers
Grindor
GRINDOR is a born soldier. He is both a highly talented fighter, and an instinctive strategist. Every moment of a battle is laid out in his head before the first shot is ever fired. He is so talented at anticipating his enemy's moves that he is almost never surprised. Whenever he can, he ensures himself a place at the direct center of a fight so that he can bring his powerful weaponry to bear on the AUTOBOTS around him, destroying as many as he can as quickly as possible.
Long Haul
LONG HAUL is too bitter to be an effective soldier on his own. Despite the fact that he is part of one of the most destructive and terrifying DECEPTICON squads of all time, he is too often treated as little more than a cargo hauler. Other DECEPTICONS sling their gear into his bed without a second thought, and order him to carry it around for them. Rather than confront them, he'd rather grumble about it privately, then stop on the way to destroy whatever he's been given responsibility for.
Robot Heroes
Battle of the Fallen
THE FALLEN has returned to Earth to claim the Matrix, if he can, then the entire universe will fall to him. With MEGATRON by his side, he is nearly invincible. Luckily, the two most powerful AUTOBOTS®* on Earth are ready to stop them!
Bring the exciting robot-fueled battle action right into your living room with this awesome four-figure pack! Featuring awesome and intimidating JETPOWER OPTIMUS PRIME, IRONHIDE, MEGATRON and THE FALLEN character figures, this cool set is sure to make the action come alive. Set them up to “battle” and let the showdown begin!
Battle for the Allspark
The final battle for the AllSpark explodes as AUTOBOTS®* and DECEPTICONS®* descend on Mission City. Each side is determined to leave this city victorious. No quarter is given as the mighty robots bring every ounce of their power to bear on the battle. The very air crackles with the energy of their weapons as the streets are blasted to pieces in the all-out fight.
Recreate exciting movie battle scenes with these fun, funky and chunky figures that pit good guys against bad guys in an all-out battle for fate of the universe!
Includes Sam, OPTIMUS PRIME, MEGATRON, STARSCREAM, BUMBLEBEE and AUTOBOT RATCHET figures.
Ironhide and Mixmaster 2-pack
Battle Chargers Stealth Bumblebee
When speed and stealth are what matter, OPTIMUS PRIME®* calls on BUMBLEBEE™ to do the job! He’s not just the fastest AUTOBOT®* on wheels, he’s also the best at sneaking around right under the grilles of the DECEPTICONS®*.
Race this BUMBLEBEE vehicle-to-robot toy into action as a sporty-looking vehcile, and then surprise the bad guys when he converts into a robot. Just pull back on the vehicle and release it to send him speeding into battle—and then crash it to convert him to robot mode! Flip the robot back to reset the car and prepare to launch another surprise attack!

I'll hold on Grindor, but count me in on the rest. Maybe I'll get Dead End if I find a job sometime soon...for now I only buy new molds and wait on repaints.

Really, Longhaul should be leader, too.

I understand and agree for "scale purposes" but you have to look at it from a marketing perspective. People like us might buy that giant Grindor for $45 but how many other people (including parents) will want to plunk down that much money for a character whose main claim to fame in the movie is getting his head ripped apart?
It has to be a really popular character to justify a leader class from a dollars and cents perspective.
Then again, they did it with Brawl 2 years ago so who knows?

You do make good points there, but if the Leader Class Blackout is well made i am sure there will be enough sales generated by TF collectors alone.
Also Blackout did more than just get his face ripped apart, remember in TF1 he completely wrecked a military base.
Now someone will probably slap me over the head for that and say "he's not Blackout, he is Grindor". Well he looks exactly the same and no name is given in the movie so i will just go ahead and assume he is the same character and they resurrected him like they did with Megatron.
Posted by Stockade on July 2nd, 2009 @ 5:57am CDT
But yes Long Haul for sure and I mean for sure. Long Haul = BadAss
Grindor, just looks better than Black out, just like Whirl is better than Evac...at least i think so..
Jolt for sure, since he help combine Jetfire and Prime
pass on the twins, if their scouts or smaller
Deadend just better looking in everyway than Sideways
Blazemaster, I'll have to see it in my hand, then the buying might happen.

I so agree with DMSL I just assumed, like many other people that if the decepticons revived megatron on the ocean floor, they would also revive Blackout. But if it is a different bot then there is almost no obvious difference between the two. But they'll probably end up making a leader blackout if starscream doesn't steal the spot. Gonna end up getting the twins( no matter how terrible the bot modes are) and longhaul only if there isn't a bonecrusher for this line. You do make good points there, but if the Leader Class Blackout is well made i am sure there will be enough sales generated by TF collectors alone.

But the first movie showed Blackout to be (dark) blue, and the chopper in this film was definitely gray.Blackout95 wrote:I so agree with DMSL I just assumed, like many other people that if the decepticons revived megatron on the ocean floor, they would also revive Blackout. Plus, the Cons only had one All spark shard, and it was put in Megatron only, like how Sam's shard was sucked into Jetfire.
And if it were Blackout, don'tcha think he would have parts from other Cons on him like they had to do with Megs?

Jolt: I love blue cars, and Jolt looks very cool in bot mode as well.
Blazemaster: News chopper alt mode? Awesome.
Ice Cream Truck Twins: Looks goofy as heck, but again, an alt mode never really seen before in Transformers.
Dead End: I like the Sideways mold, and this repaint looks a lot more interesting than the solid silver with scant few black highlights for alt-mode that Sideways received.
Grindor: I know a lot of people are underwhelmed by the 2007 Blackout mold, but I've always liked it quite a bit. This color scheme is fantastic as well.
Long Haul: Probably the Constructicon I've been looking forward to the most. Great looking alt-mode and a much more traditional looking bot mode for a Bayformer Constructicon.

I agree with Blurrz--unlikely to see a Blackout Leader class, though I would be one of the people who would buy it. And love it. And pet it. Still, I can't resist the idea (yea, even the very idea!) of a Leader Class Starscream.
Robot heroes, will probably be mine. What can I say, I like cute.
HK, cute? I eat cute for breakfast!

I think it's generally looking to be an August-October release range.
And like always, even more unseen repaints/remolds and new molds will arrive before/after Christmas for the Winter Holidays, like the previous Movie.
When it comes to Leader Starscream... its' going to be the BOMB

Leader Starscream I'll have to see first. I already have two of him..
Grindor is debatable. I like the character. Him and Blackout have one of the coolest looking robot modes in the movie. I just wish they made a new toy completely. I understand the possibility of a Leader Class Grindor/ Blackout is slim to none, But I'd like that alot more personally. Especially if it was as movie accurate as Leader Optimus from ROTF, or at least as cool as Jetfire is. If he combined with Megatron or something then I could see a leader class.
If a leader isn't going to happen, I would have liked a new Voyager sculpt. Being gray and having a new head sculpt isn't worth me buying him again.. No matter if he is a new character or not.

Some are out now I think. I *think*, because I just got the Scout Dead End. Is that the only one they're making of him? If so, it is confusing because he is red. Still cute as all heck. Though his hands pop off like it's not even funny (except it is).
Can someone non-confused help?
HK, confused.

Nah, that's a different figure. I guess in some markets the Scout is named Detour, but in the US he is called Dead End. He is a completely different toy and character than the deluxe Dead End (who is a redeco of Deluxe Sideways).

I personally don't think they'll do a leader Blackout/Grindor figure either, but I don't get how one would be any less appealing than Brawl was other than maybe the current economy...
