I want to like the altmode, I usually love planes, but it's so out of scale with the radar dish and the color of the plane just turns me off to it.

I just can't find a single thing to like about this guy. His Mechtech weapon...so much more could be done with it. I'll bet it's a bunch of hollow space in there after the gears and springs. That empty space could be utilized, I'd think.

I don't mind the alt mode (and like all others, mech-tech weapons can be removed and ignored forever) but the robot mode kills it. That being said, I could learn to live with those legs, but the silly damn tail fin hand is just ridiculous!

Alt mode isnt bad but the stupid looking hand and the poor scale really ruin it. For what the alt mode is this should have been a larger figure.

Funnily enough, I kinda like him because I'm getting a Quickstrike thing from him. The actual Quickstrike homage is just pretty cool.

I wonder where my standards were lowered to being happy he has a basic set of joints that point in the right directions.

I could see a repaint of this guy being a lot more interesting though.

I think the tail fin hand is meant to be a flail weapon. Still sucks though.

You're probably right. Would have made a much better detachable gun weapon though. And the radar dish is a shield AND a gun? That's stupid. Though if the tail had been a gun as well then you'd have a shield AND a gun at the same time or dual guns. Total missed opportunity.

Though I have to say that aside from the lame-o right arm the robot mode looks better than the original photos we were shown a bit ago. Much less "stick figure" looking.

Regarding scale or lack thereof, I'm amazed at the indignation.
I'm shocked, shocked to find Transformers not in scale (or with scaled accessories)!

If it shows up in retail I might be tempted if only to try and mod that tail section into a gun that still attaches in jet mode.

Ill probally get him just to keep him in jet mode.

Somehow a couple of these pictures actually make him look not bad. Yeah, way less 'stick-figure' as someone mentioned. You know what would get me to buy him? Paint him as G1 Octane.

Not digging the green paint, but I'll probably get him just because I have a thing for flying Transformers. Unless they announce a repaint at least, then I can wait a bit.

this could've been a great figure but hasbro took the lazy rout yet again, only way id even think about getting this mold is if hes repainted as octane. Even then it wouldnt be a must buy.

1) Claw hand, One of few Disproportionate Autobots,
2) Mace Hand and Sheild. I like the options of what you can do with it, or just use it as a scythe/blade of sorts. He's very expendable, and for those of you who collect Cyberverse, well, he should fit in just fine. I like him, I WILL Pick up on site, and I DONT Care for what all you haters think! He's coming home with me! Just like blazemaster did! Guess what? I love him. Give things a chance, huh?

I agree i like him and will pick him up, strange thing is i see why everyone hates him but like you said i dont care hes a new odd mould and i know will regret not getting him.

I agree, I like him as well. He kinda reminds me of Beast Wars (especially Neo) with the whole "My hand is part of my alt-mode" thing. It's certainly an aquired taste, but something I always personally liked about the Beastformers so his aesthetic really fits in well with my tates and he kinda reminds me of Beast Wars Sky Shadow with the green color and the tail-hand (similar to how Sky Shadow had a pincer hand made from two of his wings). I think he would have made a great homage if they did the paint apps slightly differently and perhaps had a different head mold.

really like the head mold!! very cool!! i also like the color.. so this figure is worth picking up! great job hasbro!

I love all three.

I have to say I'm a little in love with him too, aside from green, white and gold being an awesome yet woefully under-used deco choice. I'm loving the abilty to fold his weapon arm into either a morningstar-like or scythe-like configuration, though I do appreciate the comment made by someone here (or on TFW, I'm confusing myself by having both open!) that he looks somewhat more like a Cyberverse commander.

Funny that BeastProwl should mention the Octane's Universe toy when everybody's chatting about repainting Air Raid into him. I personally love my Henkei Octane and see it not only as a great Octane but also as one of the best-engineered figures I've ever played with. However, I would enjoy seeing Air Raid's mould in silver and purple - even if it wouldn't make a great Octane (seeing as he was a guy with two CARGO VEHICLE alts and, anyway, why would a guy who wasn't in any way a fighter have melee weapons?)

I'll pick him up, he is just going to probably go with Cyberverse for me, as he would be huge compared to the others

I'm tired of C-Legs and a Air Bot with no C-Legs in movieverse is win, Just like Strato-spheat or however it's spelt.

Chicken legs i think by now people should have excepted this as part of the movieverse design and look at the figures as a hole.

The mold doesn't look too bad, and is another that could go in a Movie or Classics display, but those colors...

If they repaint it with a better looking, more realistic color scheme, I might get it, but I'm not getting this.

I hated the "hand" at first but with the shield it looks like a morning star to me. He is like a gladiator!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who dislikes TFs without hands. Is it so hard to give them some regular hands?
