- Skywarp (redeco of Starscream)
- Decepticon Fracas (redeco of Firedrive)
- Shrute (redeco of Aimless)
- Terror-Daxtyl (redeco of Pteraxadon)
Shrute was the name used for Hairsplitter, in the TFCC 4.0 release of Spinister, making him one of his Targetmasters. Fracas is Scourge's Targetmaster, but was also released in Headmasters as Nightstick, Artfire's Targetmaster.
So, thoughts on this upcoming set? Are you a fan of these new Battle Masters, and who they represent? Whatever it is, tell us in the Pub forums below, after checking out the full gallery below.

Nemesis Primal wrote:-Fracas being relegated to boxset duty must such for diehard G1 fans with Scourges to arm, but also his colors look inverted from what they should be, so what happened?
I would guess that perhaps they wanted to preserve his having a gray barrel and arms, and with mold layout being what it is...
But that choice does contribute to him basically looking more like a Premium Edition Firedrive than a Fracas. In fact, I'm thinking that Hasbro should slap revision stickers over the boxes to rename him that.
Given the colors issue you'd probably be better off just buying and customizing an extra Firedrive.

I gotta admit - I’m kinda annoyed I’m forced to buy the extra stuff just to get Skywarp.

roughly $60 for the Skywarp set.
roughly $45 for the Alphastrike guys
most likely $30 for Redwing

It is odd that the 2 opposing sets are being released through two different methods, unless I missed something, isn't it presumed that Skywarp is being released through Amazon as opposed to Selects? If so it should be around $45 US upon release.

Just taking these off my sons shelf, you tell me why 32 years later I should care about the difference between these, and who they are. (My son likes them, I'm not saying they are bad toys, just that I don't make it a point to memorize their names because I have no connection to them)

Well, The TrainwreckThe Rebirth is worthless anyway when it comes to the Targetmasters. Blowpipe is Caliburst, Caliburst is a miscolored Blowpipe, Aimless' blue is overly dark and he has Blowpipe's shoulders, Nightstick is Fracas' body in Nightstick's colors and vice versa, and Blurr was drawn holding his regular gun when he was supposed to be holding Haywire's gun mode.

The Rebirth is just an utter trainwreck in every aspect. This is what happen when you take a low budget show on its last leg and decide to saw that leg off and tell it to flop to the finish line. Its a terrible ending to G1 not because of its ideas but purely on its utterly rush and lopsided execution.

Like I said, it was filled with interesting new concept (or rather, toy gimmicks but same thing in Transformers-land!) which were previously unseen, as the G1 toon mainly only had combiners and triple-changers as gimmick characters. The -masters were a different kind of combination completely different from the five/six-bot gestalts and what they combined with was organic/a cyborg. It was a merging of the mechanical and technological which Transformers just hadn't really done at that point beyond maybe Autobot X or the 'Only Human' episodes.
The Rebirth may not seem like much but we could argue this era of G1 set in motion all the elements which would lead to weirder concepts like Pretenders, Godmasters, Beast Wars and Beast Machine!

Hasbro is doing is an immensly huge favor to us G1 fans. We get the 3 seekers, we get Ironhide actually looking like Ironhide (Energon/Classics.....). And we will be getting Omega Supreme!
I'm totally won over with Combiner Wars anyway, but HasTak keeps on winning. Great time to be a Transformers fan.

Hasbro probably doesn't know exact dates, that's up to the seller, but they won't even confirm who's exclusives these are (not easily anyway). They'll probably be displayed at SDCC (3 weeks from today!) and we'll get something solid there unless they show up before then. Hasbro doesn't show exclusives at Toy Fair and without BotCon in the Spring we end up with the long wait until July and then October (NYCC) to get official info on exclusives. The time between October and July is basically a dead zone for official info on exclusives, that's when we tend to get the bulk of our leaks.

However as voyagers, they're already pricey let alone with the extra stuff driving up the price. The mould remains one of my fave and is marred just by the chest plate popping off issue.

First, the instructions make zero mention of her being a combiner limb, which is weird especially since Hasbro seems to be specifically making Greenlight and hopefully Lancer to fill our the Elita-1 combiner. I never liked the look of Moonracer or Novastar as legs, so it took me a while to remember exactly how to get Greenlight into leg mode.
The retooled forearms have removed the 5mm port that is on both the Moonracer/Novastar and Chromia versions of the mold, which is weird for Siege. However, the retooled forearms do look a little bit better in leg mode and the Moonracer/Novastar version of the mold, so it looks like Greenlight and Langer will end up being the legs for me.
In car mode (and leg/arm modes) the retooled forearms fit a bit weird together with the rear fenders that form the backpack. Where the Moonracer and Chromia forearm panels tabbed together to the fenders, the arm panels for Greenlight just kind of fit over the fender panels.

I think you're mixing up the 'toon and comic depictions. In the comics, the Nebulan's were cybernetically enhanced to transform their bodies into the heads of the bots and cons. In the 'toon, the heads of the bot's and cons were converted to transforming exosuits, which effectively made the Nebulan's mecha pilots.

OK, so I was RIGHT about Skywarp. I was incorrect about FirestormerAlphastrike Counterforce. I thought it was part of Selects. Now that I know it is also an Amazon exclusive, that makes more sense. (*edit* -Unicron.com has Alphastrike listed as part of the Selects releases...this is where my confusion came from**)
Sorry...its just with all the different release methods for Siege, it gets a little confusing. With this added knowledge, there's a couple ways they coujld go.
Last Year (2018) IIRC the release schedule was:
Blast off (Late June)
Repugnus (Late July)
Punch/Counterpunch (Late August) *or something close to this.
Leader Nemesis Prime was released ON Prime Day.
This Year (2019) we have
Greenlight (Late June)
??? (Late July)
??? (Late August)
Alphastrike Counterforce & Phantomstrike Squadron could be released either of the summer months or....maybe one of these will show up on Prime Day? I'm actually hoping one of them DOES show up on Prime Day, which gives me hope that Lancer is still part of the equation for this summer, maybe a late summer release, rather than having to wait until next year...

I have been collecting since 2014 and in that time we got the following 3 main seekers in all these molds pretty quickly one after another:
MP11 mold
Generations Deluxe
Generations Legends
Generations Leader
So this is just following that trend of getting all 3 seekers.
