The new toys released are MB-16 Jetfire, MB-17 Optimus Prime Revenge Version, MB-18 War Hammer Bumblebee, MB-19 Hound, and MB-20 Nemesis Prime. Some are very different, like Hound, while some look almost identical, like Bumblebee which still seems to have the panel misalignment problem.
We get a really good look at Hound's new accessory which also becomes a weapon storage case, with a detailed interior full of sculpted ammo. Also, look at how huge that Jetfire box is. It's pretty cool to see Takara still package their Transformers in alt mode even with this as a result.

That Hound is also a winner. That weapon storage box is pure genius. Allow me to be an ass and hope there's a cheap KO of that acessory that will pop out for all of us who have the regular TLK voyager Hound.

I never found it either, and I never saw it online for less than $30, so I figured I might as well spend the extra bit to get a hammer with himThe Bumbles wrote:Oh totally, I didn't pick up a normal TLK Bee once i heard this was announced (not that it mattered since i never saw TLK Bee in my area)D-Maximal_Primal wrote:I'm looking forward to my War Hammer Bee. The cannon is an accessory that can attach to either arm.EvasionModeBumblebee wrote:They did remold Bee's arm cannon! It's on his right arm now, I was really hoping that was the case. Can't wait, hope he arrives soon!

Yeah, but with the original figure you couldn't bend the elbow when it was attached to his right arm (well, you could, but then his arm shield would be facing the wrong way). Like the studio series figure, they mirrored the cannon so that it can bend while attached to his right arm.

Dr Wu had one that transforms into the triple chain gun but I heard the green isn’t a match

Accessories seem to be the same, face sculpt is the same, and even the articulated hands looks to be the same.

MB-11 uses the Asia exclusive Ultimate Optimus Prime as a base (for the weapons and hands along with the retooled body parts that originated with DotM Striker Optimus Prime) and bright colors, while MB-17 uses the original RotF Leader (with some Ultimate parts) as a base for Jetfire compatibility with darker colors and gimmicked sword arm replaced.
Basically it comes down to having different torso parts and different shades of paint between the two figures.

I could not see any apparent differences from the pictures. And accessories are the same. So even the articulated hands were the same to be able to hold the accessories.

Starting off in vehicle mode, one of the biggest things that differentiates this Bee from the regular release is the shade of yellow used - it's much better looking and more screen accurate than the original. There are a few more paint apps in vehicle mode than the original, but not that many. That being said, the paint was a pretty easy fix.
What wasn't an easy fix (and something I'm still trying to figure out) is getting the secondary wings to line up in vehicle mode. Whenever I transform him either one or both of them will leave a gap that I'm not sure how to fix. I'm not sure if this issue applied to the original TLK Bee or not. Is there a way to keep it from doing this?
Robot mode looks really good! The way the legs transform is a cool innovation - and the way the figure pulls it off is one of the areas that I feel is better than the studio series. Paint work again needed some help, but another fairly easy fix. The plasma cannon is thankfully remolded to fit on his right arm, which is great, although the method of detaching and reattaching the arm/cannon is MUCH better on the studio series. The hammer is cool, and has a hinge so that it stores in vehicle mode looking like some kind of tank barrel.
Overall this figure is really good! Overall it's not as good as SS Bee (which had the advantage of learning from the mistakes of this mold), but it's still good. The feet aren't loose enough to be annoying, and none of the parts pop off except for the hands. When it comes to this figure compared to the standard deluxe, I guess it's situational. If you're not a big fan of Bee and you were able to find the wave 3 deluxe at retail, you might not need this one. In my case, however, as a fan of Bumblebee and having never seen the wave 3 deluxe in stores, this was totally worth it. Especially when online prices for the standard deluxe TLK Bee were only around $10 less than this one. For a great shade of yellow, better paint apps, a more accurate remolded plasma cannon and a hammer, this figure was totally worth it and a great addition to my collection.

Do you have a picture of the hammer in alt mode? That is the one thing I haven't seen yet
