Here is a fun lil' bit of news. The official Transformers Facebook page has an add for Denny's Vinatge Salvage Depot. This is the Salvage Yard that the human character Denny operates. It is a working toll free number and everyone is welcome to try it out. It's always fun to see Hasbro and company go the extra mile to add to the fan experience.

Denny's? Ah, yes, I'd like to place an order for take out. Yes. I'm gonna build my own grand slam. I'll have the eggs sunny side up and a double order of hash browns. Aaaaaaaaand an English Muffin works too. Great, thanks!

Ironically (and sadly), despite having that diner in his scrapyard, Denny wasn't named after the restaurant.

Something writer/producer Adam Beechen regrets.

Via the Instagram account of Jose Lopez, the art director on Transformers: Robots in Disguise, we get a handful of concept shots of some of characters from the show. Other than Bumblebee, which we are now familiar with, Lopez showed off the newcomer (to the franchise and show) Windblade face studies, and a full body concept Optimus Prime with thundershoulders - check them our below to see what we mean by that!

Looks like he is stepping to the side like his leg is broken, he might be shaking and twitching, kinda like he's been smoking, when a 'con chump punk points a finger like a stump, he'd tell them to step off, he's doing the hump.

The Transformers: Robots in Disguise line has been bringing together quite a few strands of the Transformers mythos, and the mystery behind new character Megatronus has yet to be cleared. We've heard of the Warrior class toy, we've seen both alt-mode and robot mode in the RID app - and now we have some screen caps featuring a battle between MEgatronus and Optimus Prime (who is also sporting a new body) in an upcoming episode of the show!

Check out the mirrored images below, via the Autobase Aichi Facebook page, and let us know what you think in the Energon Pub.

Maybe I need to start catching up with this show. Most of the episodes I've seen have just been much too childish for me. I don't hate it, but I don't exactly like it, either. But this First 13 stuff... that's what I like.

I`m so glad to see Optimus and Megatronus go against each other for the very first time. Does that mean that Megatron will finally reclaim his rightful place as he really should have, or is he? Also, as for Clampdown, is actually inspired by a Decepticon double agent named, Sideways, hence, the episode title? :CON:

Well, that makes me more hopeful for the series, glad to see Windblade is sticking around, hope she's a regular cast member now. Megatronus looks interesting, still not sure who he exactly is...

But the new look for Optimus is quite cool!

2 guesses:
1) That is Optimus in the after-life training with Megatronus "part of the 13" Megatronus for a rising threat.
2) Megatronus is the rising threat and Optimus is finally brought back to life to deal with him.
Plus, is that the Star Saber Optimus is holding? :BOT:

You know, I really hate the whole Decepticon Hunter thing. It's like, they were too lazy to give them individual weapons with creative names and was like "well, what does this thingy do? Hunt Decepticons? I'VE COME UP WITH THE MOST AMAZING AND INNOVATIVE TITLE EVER GIVEN TO A WEAPON! :KREMZEEK: :KREMZEEK: :KREMZEEK: "

I'm pretty sure its obvious that's what it is.

Some of Grimlock's toys have that battle mask (without the visor)

That and the fact that everyone and their motherboard has a battle mask in RID I'm pretty sure Grimlock will use this mask in future episode(s).

Though, I would be okay with it used as a battle mask, but so far, Grimlock hasn't had a battle mask in any of the first 14 episodes.

Once again via the French TV programming website Programme-TV.com we have listings for more episodes (16 to 21) of the Transformers: Robots in Disguise animated series.

Beware, some of these may contain spoilers, as none have aired in the US or Australia yet, and we're talking about a good advance compared to at least the US show. If you're so inclined, head below to read what's coming on June 10th and 17th on Canal J - translated from French!

16 - Sideswipe loses his head

When the latest team training session leaves Sideswipe wiped out, the young Autobot realises he cannot always rely on physical strength.

17 - Honour above all

Drift returns to Earth in pursuit of Jetstorm. Meanwhile, Bumblebee's team must face an escaped Springload and Quillfire.

18 - Grimlock's Wound

Unaware of Grimlock hiding a severe wound, Bumblebee and the team head towards the ocean in pursuit of a Decepticon.

19 - The champion

Groundpounder, an ancient gladiator become Decepticon, escapes and joins a TV fighting program. Grimlock will have to face him.

20 - Malfunction

Fixit's glitch becomes worse. Denny tries fixing it, but accidentally triggers his security programming. Fully armed, Fixit turns on the others.

21 - Siege

Steeljaw and his gang manage to enter the junkyard, and try freeing the cryofrozen Decepticons while keeping the Autobots away thanks to a sonic wave field. Our heroes will have to show cunning and strategy to enact their plan and take back their base.
Re: Japanese Transformers: Channel App in iTunes Store (1690573)
Posted by psj333 on May 26th, 2015 @ 6:17am CDT
You know, Episode 21 is one episode in which Steeljaw's army will get a shot to free all the Decepticons captured by the Autobots, saying that he will kill the Autobots if they ever try to stop him. Does that means, that all Decepticons will be freed before the Autobots stop him? I don't know about that. But it seems to me that Bumblebee isn't scared of threats.

As for a new Decepticon called, Groundpounder, he will face Grimlock for the very first time. Does that mean that Groundpounder will be the second rival to Grimlock, next to Underbite?

In episode #18, the entire Autobot team travels to the ocean to search for an escaped Decepticon. Could this mean the return of Hammerstrike, a brand-new Decepticon, or both? :CON:

I'm guessing it's a new one. Bumblebee and Grimlock took down Hammerstrike by themselves, so the whole team going after him doesn't seem likely.

Keep one thing in mind about these episode titles. Since they are translated from French, it is likely that they aren't quite what the English episode titles are to be officially called.

That may be true, bluecatcinema. But in case that you didn`t realize, steeljaw is planning to free all the Decepticons and threatened to kills the Autobots if they get in his way. So, I`m pretty sure that we might be able to see Hammerstrike again for the second time, inluding Bisk, Terrashock, Filch, and Ped. That`s not been confirmed, yet. What has been confirmed is that Quillfire and Springload are scheduled to make a reappearance in future episodes. :CON:

Sabrblade, in episode #21, Steeljaw is using aonic field to keep Autobots away, according to the plot description. Don't forget, Hasbro has stated that he is the most dangerous and most fearsome Decepticon to date. To me, that enough to say that Steeljaw is planning to use threats if he has to. :CON:

Re: Japanese Transformers: Channel App in iTunes Store (1690719)

True, Sabrblade. But even so, no matter what Steeljaw does or says, Bumblebee will do everything within his power to be sure that doesn't happen, as Bumblebee doesn't take threats too easily. As an Autobot, Bumblebee do fear nobody! But you know what? Just because of yoou being a leader, it doesn't really mean that you've been given all rights. No one really does! We must all reassure ourselves that part of Bumblebee's personality is inherited from Rodimus Prime, which means that sometimes, when anyone, including boss characters want to solve a problem, they don't think. They just react without even realizing the risk of their mission. So, if Bee wants to prevent Steeljaw from winning, he put his own life at risk. If I were him, I would wait until my enemy finish what he has to do first, before I would react. Let me ask you this: If your enemy tells you that they have a mission, and he threatens to kill you if you dare jepordize his mission, should you immediately react to this situation, or should you hold back until further notice? :CON: :BOT:
