God I'm funny.

Am I the only one here who's so sick of this nonsense about toy guns in the US having to be neutered just because the NRA insists on making the real thing more available to everyone that I'd honestly find it hilarious if a movie or TV show featured someone brutally shooting people to death with a real gun sporting an orange safety tip? Has that ever been done?

Nobody, other than JustIToys, knows.

I've been wanting that to happen for a long time now.

here here i agree who stopping someone spray painting toy gun make it look they may as well not sell toy guns in us to begin if this is the case bbguns, costume guns powerrangers for example.
looks good if mp megatron wasnt made of glass/break easily i buy this but i may not buy mp megatron since he rusts & breaks easily

The original set was just an orange plug that was easily removable...I can't imagine they're changing it at all. Sounds to be just another run.
BATTOUSAI XD wrote:This is kind of off topic, but does anyone know if there will be a new mold done for Masterpiece Megatron? I've been wanting to buy the recent reissue, but after I saw that they were doing a new mold for Optimus, I didn't want to spend the money only for a better one to come out.
Don't think anyone really knows for sure at this point, but it would kinda make sense. Although, it probably largely depends on how successful MP-10 is. I would imagine Prime typically sells better than Megs, so if sales for that one were to disappoint, probably doubtful they'd give Megs another go.

Orange caps are not required for real guns.
Problem SOLVED!

Thanks for your advice! I think I may just go ahead and get Megs now, because I don't want to risk having to spend a lot more later on him if I wait and a remold isn't made. From what I've seen it's a really awesome figure, so I guess I can't really lose anyway.

It's a great figure, provided you like complex figures. I think it took me about an hour to transform WITH INSTRUCTIONS the first time through!

It's supposed to. I dunno, I never had much problems with mine before, but it definitely adds considerable weight to his legs as the new leg pieces are die-cast. And the other thing it does is it puts the scope/arm cannon on this new gun stand, weapon of sorts so you're not having to try and balance that huge piece on his extended, raised arm...

It's a great piece, nice and simple.
