In what's probably no surprise to everyone here, KB has announced that it plans to close anywhere from 141 to 238 stores before January 31st, 2005 in an effort to "trim the fat" during it's Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

See the original press release here, the list of stores which are definitely closing here, and finally the remaining set which "may or may not" close, here.

It is a sad thing, indeed. Even if they were pricey.
