Greetings Seibertronians!

Prime VS Prime have posted his video review of Kingdom Deluxe Shadow Panther. Shadow Panther is a repaint of Kingdom Cheetor with a new head referring the original Beast Wars toy's mutant mask.

See the video review down below:

Shadow Panther is part of the newest wave of Kingdom deluxes slowly appearing all over the world along Waspinator. If you can find him in your area, will you pick him up, or having Kingdom Cheetor is enough?

Let us know what you think!

A friend and I went in together on the Jurassic Park crossover set because he wanted the jeep and I'll get the T-Rex and I'm just going to put it on my Grimlock shelf and consider it a Beast Wars Grimlock. The red and black in robot mode will help blend it in.

I would have customised that T-Rex into a proper Grimlock just by changing the head. But for the price that set go for, better keep it unmodded. But even so, it works as a Grimlock by itself much more than the Dinobot repaint.

You should quote who's you're responding to, but one thing is sure. Gen Metroplex and consequently, TR Fortmax would definitely need a redo.

I'm not sure what part you're commenting on. Though people have said in the past they would love a more cartoon accurate Metroplex and a better Fortress Maximus that was his own mold.

Ah, I see. Thanks for explaining.

I do like that they gave Shadow Panther the Mutant head, I find it helps keep them distinct from Cheetor.

Been having fun with Kingdom Rodimus. Gotta say he’s one fantastic figure. He’s definitely really well designed and engineered.

He’s gotta be in the top 5 figures of the year IMHO.

If we can expect something similar for Legacy G2 Laser Prime, damn, its gonna be good.

The trailer is huge. Dwarfs PotP Rodimus. I can honestly say he is in deed worth the Commander Class price point.

As a kid I always wanted Metroplex, unfortunately he was too expensive. So I would certainly be interested in a new one now with a more affordable prices than what he is on the secondary market. Fortress Maximus I'm not that interested in but it would depend on what the final product looked like.

Actually I'm kind of curious if they would ever try to rework HasLAb Unicron into Cybertron?

I doubt they'd rework that particular unicron. If they would do a HasLab primus though, I don't know. I could see them making it but, I doubt they actually would.

So catching up, I got my Kingdom Ark, whom will forever be known to be as Iaconus the Last War Titan, my Kingdom Tricranius set, and the Grimlock 2-pack, and.

But before we get to them, I want to share some pictures of Wingfinger, since I am really enjoying him. I think Tricranius will ultimately be my favorite of the Fossilizers, and Ractonite my favorite retail release one, but Wingfinger is pretty dang good too

Image

Also real quick, so far Scorponok is pretty good, I actually really enjoy his scorpion mode

Image

So to jump to Iaconus and Mainframe, I'll start with Mainframe. He is a really fun and neat little dude. I love the computer alt mode, and the robot mode is really solid and for me just fun. He is a great accessory figure, and I still hope he gets a Selects release in his standard colors down the road

Moving to Iaconus, I think this might be right there with Omega Supreme as my favorite titan. For one thing, the actual ship alt mode is super fun, and he is really fun to swish around. And then the robot mode is nicely new, fresh, and the head sculpt is really cool to look at. He's just fun overall. I wish his ankles had more tilt and his hands didn't suck, but overall he is a really nice titan.

Oh, and once you have the Tricranius pack, you can give him 4 thruster effects!

Image

Size compared to my new Haslab Sentinel

Image

Since we brought up Tricranius, I got him too, and he is lots of fun. This is my favorite mold, and in magma colors it absolutely kills. This is a perfect toy.

Image
Image

Moving on, here are Grimlock and Mirage. Still deciding on whether or not I am going to sell my Mirage off, but I like Grimlock. They nailed that head, I just wish it would photograph better, especially the eyes. I like this mold, and it makes a great Grimlock

And finally, I need to take an updated pic with Tricranius, but here are my new roster Beast Wars Dinobots

This is usually not very important news in other years but with a greater focus on the supply chain and fans curious as to how Hasbro can handle challenges in the pandemic and bring toys to the shelves, we wanted to share with you proof of these new case offerings. In between waves, Hasbro has made available some solid cases for retailers to order, meaning that the case is filled with the same figure. We had seen this in Titans Return with Blurr, Galvatron and Mindwipe, for instance. Below you can see that Hasbro is offering this in the Kingdom line too with a solid case of Wingfinger. This was found at an EB Games/Gamestop in Canada.

It is unsure if solid cases of other characters are being offered and if retailers can distinguish one from the other in their order form or if it's simply part of the deluxe assortment. But it means Hasbro is shipping out product in various ways and as we can see in the image, at least that EB Games location has a nice full shelf for customers. Also, this would be the explanation if ever you see a ton of just one character on your shelves after a restock.

What's nice is they do this with some of their other lines too, usually it's just available to smaller, specialized retailers. I remember a few years ago hearing that stores could buy whole cases of Storm Troopers from Star Wars for example.

I've yet to see ANY Kingdom Wave 3 Deluxes in person. Glad I pre-ordered them on Amazon, and came almost 2 months ago.

Although the same thing happened with ER Deluxe wave 3. I got the ones I wanted online, but NEVER saw them at retail.

None of the leakers as far as I am aware have mentioned a Predacon Selects reuse of the Wingfinger mold, which gives me dwindling hope it will happen. My Tricranius is currently stuck at a FedEx facility 2 hours from my home (been there since last Friday)

Image

But I'm hoping once I get it (since Skelivore has many of the same style parts as Wingfinger) I can perhaps use Skelivore as a substitute to make a modified version of the Fossilizer combiner.

Besides my son has been doing some pretty awesome if not nightmarish combinations of his own with all of them. I want him to add Tricranius to the mix and really cut loose before I share pics. ;)

I'm sure it will not be just E.B Games that will have these Wingfingers flocks.

At worst, I'll have one for 2$ less thanks to my Platinum membership.

Seems a bit weird not having another insecticon in wave 2 or 3.

Really want to like the core pretenders but it just feels like there wont be a decent enough roster of them.

Looks like I'll be buying more from this line than I have Kingdom even with all the repacks of figures that werent so good the first time around.

Stunticons are gonna be a hit or miss after getting both CW versions at £80 each compared to £93 just for Motormaster -which if it's in scale to the already too small WFC Primes truck mode it's likely going to be no.

Titan seems pointless with the orig Cybertron toy being pretty good and I dont really want any cybertron figures after selling what I had. Hopefully it will be decent for those that want it and not require any thord party upgrades to complete it.

I have a strong feeling that the Stunticon cars will be retools of Earthrise/Kingdom molds that just clip onto Motormaster's trailer. It'd be sturdier, more animation-accurate, and cheaper than another Scramble City combiner.

They can be new molds and also be clip ons.

I just got my Sideswipe and Skywarp 2-pack from Hasbro Pulse the other day. I've already been spoiled for the new "Earthmode" Sideswipe type Lamborghini, having scored Kingdom Red Alert several weeks ago, but it's nice to have this retool of Sideswipe nonetheless. The red and white are bright and pop so much more than on the original Siege release. He's very animation accurate, which is much appreciated. It's just that much more of a "Mini Masterpiece." However, QC seems to be a bit hit and miss on this release. There's just something about the top half of the figure that doesn't come together quite right in alternate mode, resulting in a car that won't roll well. It's not a clearance issue, either, but seemingly has to do with how the front wheels sit. Luckily, I have a second one I had received from Amazon last week (I bought another set to do some parts swapping with Kingdom Red Alert), but that one is also flawed in that the back of the car mode won't clip together flush down the midline, resulting in a big gap down the back of the car. However, it rolls just fine. I ended up separating the two figures at the waist joints and swapping the lower and upper halves of each to get one copy that could clip together in the back and also roll freely. The other one now just hold's Red Alert's spare parts.

Anyway, this obviously leaves me with two Skywarps, which I don't think I need. Is anyone interested in just Maximal Skywarp from this set? PM me if so. Also, let me know if you want to see pics of my Kingdom Red Alert with Kingdom Sideswipe's arms, feet, and shoulder cannon (minus the missile). I'm quite pleased with the results, and it's a very easy and completely reversible swap that requires no tools. :)

My copy also has this second problem, but I was able to get close enough with a little extra pressure, and I didn't see any stress marks, though maybe the tabs show a little wear. It's barely noticeable, though, and it doesn't bother me, but it's there.

Likely because the Metroplex mold already exists and can be- and has been- used for multiple figures/repaints. Tidal Wave is really a unique figure...no potential repaint possibilities, no other figures that could adapt from him so very, VERY low reuse/remold/resale. Hence nO TW yet, and I'd be stunned if we got one. Why do you think they continue to make Seekers and Sideswipe clones? Just a change of plastic color and *BOOM* suckers vacuum them up as "different characters".

I really don't think repaint/re-use potential carries as much weight at the titan class as it does for other classes so far.

Metroplex, retooloed into Fort Max, redecoed into Grand Max takes the cake for the most mileage from the original mold.

But other than that, all we have is Scorponok redecoed into Black Zarak. Every other titan has been a single mold use.

No, not at all. The only thing the 2 versions of Metroplex really have in common is the head and the overall robot proportions. That is about it, well that and being big. All the T30 Metroplex mold can do with his legs for alt mode is lay them flat. To even try and use that mold to create an alt mode that looks anything like Cybertron Metroplex would likely require more work than just making new molds.

I hope it isn't. Megalo Convoy looks nothing like Metroplex from G1. And I think the actual figure will be closer to Commander Jetfire's size than 2 feet of Titan, because his weapon was almost as large as he was, so that will take up a lot of room/material as well. Not sure how complex the engineering will be.

Agreed, Cybertron Metroplex won't be a reuse of T30 Metroplex. Plus lets save Tidal Wave (probably a Commander Class) for even we have an Armada Megatron redo to combine it with.

I'm most likely in the minority with this, but I never cared for that combination. I understand it was in response to the Optimus/Jetfire combo, but to me it was awkward and forced, and looked stupid. I guess if we ever get a leader Armada Megatron he might combine with a commander Tidal Wave. Personally, it's a feature I can do without and would gladly sacrifice in order to get better Megatron and Tidal Wave figures.

I feel like the idea (at least in Japan) was not only as a counter to the Optimus/Jetfire combo but also as an homage to the fact that G1 Jetfire and Shockwave were depicted as rivals in their original toy commercial, as Tidal Wave's Japanese name was Shockwave. So it was like "Optimus has combined with Jefire? Well then Optimus's rival Megatron will combine with Jetfire's rival Shockwave."

I think the combination could be improved but I can't see Hasbro leaving it out, UT fans would complain too much about a play feature being nixed (on top of the minicon functionality being gone like the last few UT redos)

So it was like "Optimus has combined with Jetfire? Well then Optimus's rival Megatron will combine with Jetfire's rival Shockwave."

Exactly. And while I'm not really a fan of Armada (Yes Micron Legend is a more palatable presentation for me at least) I always thought the Purple Shockwave/Tidalwave looked way better.

As a UT fan, leave it out, that combination-thing never made sense or looked good and I'd rather get a Titan Tidal Wave for a suitably big alt mode & the Armada game vibes than a Commander one to facilitate that combination.

I can see them hewing closer to the cartoon scale then the game.

Though knowing Hasbro they'd find a way to do a Titan Class TW and still have it combine. They'd likely to go by the gimmicks shown in the toon after all.

My Sideswipe and Skywarp set arrived today. Some of the paint on Skywarp is a bit messy, especially around the eagle's head, the back of the head is covered in flecks and dashes of stray white paint, a bit of yellow paint on the beak has chipped away leaving an ugly mark, and the white feathers on his wing tips haven't been apinted very well, so bits of dark brown are still coming through. Despite those problems, while I don't like him as much as Airazor, he's still a good use of the mould.
Sideswipe meanwhile is very good, one of the best Transformers I've handled in a while. I've got Red Alert so I knew what I was expecting, but Sideswipe wears the mould much better. I feel as if I need to track down an Earthrise Sunstreaker now, but to avoid another impulse buy I might regret later, I'm going to sit down and really think about what my G1 Autobot shelf is actually going to have on it, because I don't want it to swell up too much.
