Man, sometimes I lose sight of things, how is Blaster coming within the kingdom line?

There were some leaked listings a month or so ago with a Kingdom Voyager Blaster. A couple of leakers said afterwards that some of the next trilogy's figures were being shuffled into a Kingdom Wave 5 a la Siege and Earthrise, but I don't remember if there were any others besides Blaster.william-james88 wrote:Autobot N wrote:For me, it's Blaster, Slammer, and Pipes, in that orderwilliam-james88 wrote:Of the toys yet to be shown for Kingdom, which are you most excited to see? Oddly enough, I recall that Magmatron was an exclusive to Target at that time, but I think the original T-Wrecks was regular retail correct? - He was the only one I never wanted. I wanted all the others because it was a less expensive way to get several of the BW Neo Destrons' (albeit colored different)

There is no head retooling. There was supposed to be, but Hasbro goofed and used the same head as Megatron instead of the new one they made for T-Wrecks. As such, this is a straight redeco.DeathReviews wrote:Not sure I understand the appeal for this one. Different colors and a slight head remolding hardly seems to make this figure worth all the anticipation. Sure we all love tyrannosaurs, but they're treating T-Wrecks with as much buzz as if they were making the Centurion Drone accessories pack available again.....
As for why all the fuss, T-Wrecks is the redeco of the original BW Megatron toy. It was made back in 2000, so as soon as the new Kingdom Megatron was announced, people were expecting the inevitable T-Wrecks redeco.

I believe he also mentioned Slammer's tank cannon being able to be arm-mounted in robot mode like a Megatron fusion cannon, which would be absolutely impossible for the Warpath mold.Autobot N wrote:I dunno, the leaks were pretty specific. The guy in question leaked Slammer before the Walmart listing (I think he got to look at the instructions), and specifically called out his status as a Weaponizer and the fact that he had some sort of cool chainsaw/shield weapon. In particular:Bounti76 wrote:I think it's more likely that Slammer will be a redeco of Warpath, probably with a new head. Treds is the only other easy use of the mold that I can think of, but he's likely to be a Selects figure, if at all.
Re - Slammer: I thought the same [reference to him potentially being a Warpath retool] til I saw his engineering prototype pics, he looks very different almost more like airwave.
I'm picking him up for his cool chainsaw tank tread shield weapon alone.
Slammer:
Not super interested in this one, but he looks much more accurate than I expected. Appears to be almost completely a new mold. No obvious signs of shared engineering with Warpath, apart from the fact they both have treads and are tanks.

Surprisingly, Tigatron is a Voyager instead of a Deluxe, so it will be a new mold, not a remold of Cheetor.
Oh that sounds good....
I wish Kingdom Scorponok was a voyager, that size suits him.

T-Wrecks was regular retail, yes. The BM Dinobots were shipped mixed with the regular BM figures; T-Wrecks' case mate was Ultra Jetstorm.
:EDIT: Weird, I found a little... quirk with Paleotrex, specifically the Dino feet: they were misassembled on mine.

I'm the opposite, I can't wait to find this one. My T-30 Rhinox is a floppy mess that can only stand up in the most basic of poses.

The shoulders sitting low on him though, I can confirm it is because he is assembled wrong. the O-rings are upside down. I popped the pins out (I don't recommend, high chance of figure destruction) and the rings have sculpted detail on them that match the rest of the shoulder once flipped right side up. (see attached pics). Also going to do a review of the mad lad. Stay Tuned!

So these are the bad shoulders? Just delivered by BBTS and they have shipped a lot of Galvatron figures with bad shoulders. I will probably try hunting for the fixed variant to swap since I don't trust myself doing the fixImmortal Starscream wrote:Just snagged Galvatron at my local Target yesterday. After having him in hand, I can say he is easily one of the best main line Transformers ever. He is surprisingly weighty too. Like, he feels the same weight as the 86 Grimlock despite being much shorter.

Yeah, I'll just sit on the figure for a bit and see what I can find locally. One Target yesterday had tons of Rhinox and Cyclonus so they put out voyagers but the deluxe and leaders were older stuff, going to check the other major Target near me after work. I've seen reports of fixed variants being found in the wild so something must have been done.

I have seen reports of people finding fixed shoulders in the wild. however these could be factory "mistakes" were the mistake is accidentally the correct version!

I will say I do advise SERIOUS caution if you are thinking about doing the fix, because breakage is highly likely. Japanese toy reviewer Wotafa did a livestream where he does the fix. It is easy to see how to do it even though it is in Japanese.
honestly though if you freak out at the sight of toys getting treated dangerously, look away!

There's a post on a good fix, a couple pages back.

I watched the first half thinking no way in hell. The pin wasn't so bad, I was surprised how difficult it appeared just getting the arm off and on. Then seeing how scratched up the inside of the arm pieces got really turned me off. But then the tip to ditch the pin and replace it with a screw has almost convinced me to maybe give it a try.

I'm thinking the pin is just plain cheapear than a screw, because if it was a screw it would be easy peasy. A couple of scratches on an arm joint ain't gonna bother me, but misassembled shoulders might. We shall see.
