Fan2Fan have put the rumours to rest in finally confirming that Takara's Kiss Player Convoy contains NO diecast parts, dispite many and various report to the contrary.

Kiss Players Convoy with Melissa was officially released today in Japan. Unlike the Binaltech and Binaltech Asterisk lines that came before him Kiss Players Convoy does not contain diecast parts, a trait normally associated with Hasbros Alternators line. However Takara's version of this figure does feature more paint applications and accessories than the Hasbro version.

This information is further confirmed by the recently updated HobbyLink Japan listing for this figure.
