Frickin A! But keep it down, my local only has 2...

Because they are new, and they are minicons.

Reason enough, for me
Plus, these latest generation of mini-cons are pretty involved. Some of the steps for transformation rival Leader Class figures (hello, Animated Megatron), and certainly beat out the legends series 9 times out of 10.

I hope you realize we are expecting a very precise, detailed review from you on all 12 individual figures.
Minicons and Counterpunch are like peanut butter and jelly.

You know nothing of my work.

It's funny you mention that, since I pretty recently picked up a complete Universe Superion from none other than CVS. Seems they're the only store that carries them anymore, either
Also, just picked this up in San Diego, CA at a Sears Essentials. If anyone else lives around there, there were a few left! And a Cybertron Legends Soundwave @_@

I read Seibertron years before I posted.

Its just a shame my local k-mart (is NASTY) and doesn't have them in stock yet. I only have about 60 but I Loooooooooooove Minicons. They really are the drug of choice in the world of Transformers. Plus I don't have any of these molds yet (not sure how that happened ).

I'm beginning to suspect that CP has Minicon's that Takara never even gave names to. Where the heck is your minicon article?
I wanted to get into Minicon's, but I don't have the time to sit down and hunt down every single one of them. I'm happy with the few I have from Armada and will glady add this set to my collection. I may even buy 2!

Thoughts:
Makeshift and Knockdown are assembled wrong. Their legs are attached to the wrong sides of the pelvis. Simply pop off the legs and swap them.
The packaging says "Armada Series", which is incorrect. While Mini-Cons are from Armada originally, these are Classics Mini-Con molds. That aside...
What the hell is up with the Bio on the back of the package? "Many Mini-Con teams were broken apart or destroyed utterly by the greed of the Decepticons, or the desperation of the Autobots." Meow? Since when? Revisionist history if you ask me.
The packaging gives factions to the individual Mini-Cons, they however do not have any faction symbols other than the Mini-Con one.
All that junk aside, these are great Mini-Cons!
This set is easily on par with MB1 and MB2 in terms of cool.
All the figures have individual paint aps and are fairly unique in their look.
Boltflash, Flatfoot, and Bodyblock are easily my favorites.

High praise indeed. I may have to return to my first place of employment for the first time in 14 years...
I wonder if they'll remember me?

Well, at least the KMart will look the same. (I mean, for the love of God, could the renovate a bit? It's like a morgue in there...)

Tell me about it. It was like they locked the doors in the 70's and only open it up to sell pink sweat pants and broken kiddy pools.
Crap, my fiancee just reminded me the one I worked at is now a Lowes. Guess I won't find any Minicons there now...
Wait! Does John Deere make Minicons?

Yes, they are large, don't transform, and are called lawn mowers. I used to like K-Mart, but then they opened a Wal*Mart near It and ran it out of buisness.

WalMart is like a massive vacuum for businesses. Unless you're a restaurant, you won't last long next to WalMart.
I'm going to have a heck of a time tracking these down. K Mart's in my area don't like to stock good stuff.

SailorCybertron24 wrote:hey robofreak, is there any decent K-Marts in Peoria/Pheonix? you would know?
I have the worst luck with Kmart's. I usually never find what I'm looking for and almost always leave pissed off. It's been 3 years since I last stepped into a Kmart. There's only one in my area and gas prices won't let me drive over all of God's green earth (or sandy) to find them. I'll probably end up buying them online somewhere.
If you track them down I'll pick'em up from you. I go to ASU west everyday and since you live in Peoria I'm assuming you live close by to them.

I hate K-Mart too. I tried to return a gift but the guy at the customer service desk was an ass.

The Heroes of Cybertron was a loose Walgreens exclusive.

I noticed Knockdown and makeshift's funky legs first thing, but luckily it's an easy fix. Overall, I'm loving this set. The paint apps are surprisingly good, and I love the paint homages they've thrown in:
Heavytread - Warpath
Boltflash - Nightflight (Or Leader-1! zomg gobots)
Skyhammer - Uhm, Skyhammer XD;
etc etc.
All in all, worth braving the terror that was K-Mart's affiliates.
