Optimus Prime is ready for battle – towering above the entrance to Universal Orlando Resort’s highly-anticipated, blockbuster attraction, TRANSFORMERS: The Ride – 3D. The addition of the authentically-sized leader of the Autobots Thursday morning, May 30, 2013 is one of the finishing touches to the attraction. waaay better than the crappy costumes they have. although with a 4th movie coming out with a new looking prime. whats the point of this thing?

Me too. I think if I was there at the moment, I'd be compelled to climb up there just to stand next to Prime.
I would stand next to Optimus valiantly.

The Optimus Prime and Bumblebee walk around characters took a break from Universal Studios Orlando last night to visit Marlins Park. The pair accompanied Timothy Stahlsmith as he threw the ceremonial first pitch in last night's game versus the Tampa Bay Rays thanks to the Give Kids the World Foundation. They remained on hand to take pictures with fans throughout the game. Video footage can be found on Yahoo! Sports by clicking here.

its too bad its outta reach, imagine the awesome photo op that could bring for visitors. granted at full size, you'd look like paris hilton's dog in comparison in the photo but it would still be cool.

I'm here in Orlando for the event. We had a special reception and got to ride the ride and shop at the store earlier in the evening. The grand opening commences in the morning and we shall be there.

I finally got to ride it............I know months later, killed two birds with one stone with going on the final night of Halloween Horror Nights. Loved it, as my wife would look at me from time to time and see my face lit up. Was a bit disappointed there wasn't energon and the glasses. I asked people who worked there where they were and only got the deer and the headlights look. I did get the ridiculously large Op souvenir water bottle. Is it not in Orlando yet?
