Ok so one listing but lots to go through. The new listing in question is Hasbro TRA GEN K Deluxe Mirage & Grimlock found on Amazon uk. We thank fellow Seibertronian aronjlove for letting us know of it. The listing specifically states that this is part of a subline within Kingdom called the Battle Across Time Collection where "fans can recreate the duel between G1 and Beast Wars and form teams from Maximals and Autobots". It is 100% certain that the Grimlock here is a redeco of Kingdom Dinobot since the listing specifically calls out Beast Wars Grimlock's look in the Uprising comic, and details that he turns into a velociraptor. Mirage is the same Mirage we got in Siege since he comes with the same accessories listed and we were told of this in the initial rumours. The differences are rumoured to be the deco which would not have the Cybertronian text. The other two pack rumoured to come out in this line would be Sideswipe and a redeco of Airazor as Beast Wars II Skywarp.
This is the second exclusive subline within Kingdom, since we already know of the Golden Disk collection. This happened in Earthrise as well where you had the "Villains" subline and the Amazon exclusive Galactic Odyssey collection.

Does Hasbro know that hardly anybody was able to find Titans Return Windblade, Misfire or Twin Twist? I mean those 3 figures just barely got released 1 time. I know a lot of fans never saw them in stores at all, myself included.
What's so special about the Siege Mirage mold to make it deserving of 4 releases? Am I missing something here? Is it related to BW Grimlock in some way?

Earth version, presumably this time he'll have actual English writing on him instead of Cybertronian, maybe fully opaque plastic instead of having translucent legs, and given the listing has him with 20 steps while the Siege release has 19 he might even be somewhat remolded instead of just redecoed as previously indicated

I remember my hobby store nexus had at least 2 Windblade figures. But i purchased Weirdwolf, Hardhead, Hot-Rod and Kup during that era. I never was interested in Windblade since she was new and not so rooted in memories of a character i was familiar with. (Both RID and Cyberverse were shown infrequently on cartoon network.) WFC Arcee was a different story. Transformers G1 season 3-4 was the only G1 dvd set i ever bought.

This image is getting passed around as a leak of Grimlock and it looks like complete bull to me. But I dunno, everyone else seems to be believing it
The plastic looks wrong (and inconsistent) and the spots look edited.

The head also looks too big. Looking at my Dinobot now I think it's safe to say this is edited. At least it gives us an approximation of what the figure will probably look like.

Slight correction: the original leaks were for Sideswipe and Grimlock, along with Mirage and Skywarp. Now it's Sideswipe and Nightprowler, along with Mirage and Grimlock. Guess they shuffled things around.william-james88 wrote:The other two pack rumoured to come out in this line would be Sideswipe and a redeco of Airazor as Beast Wars II Skywarp.

I have no idea where the the concept art come from but theirs a wiki page for a BW Mirage that is unrelated to the G1 Mirage. https://beastwarstransformers.fandom.co ... Mirage_(BW)
I personally think it would be awesome to get a brand new beast wars figure based an a new animal form. I doubt it will happen as we'll prob just get a sige repaint, but I'll hope for a new mold.

Dont know why BW mirage is being brought up, the listing clearly states it is a G1 mirage, hence the battle across time moniker.

Ermmmmm, that's kind of what I thought the one time I saw TR Misfire, Twin Twist, and Perceptor on store pegs, and passed because their paint jobs weren't quite up to snuff. The gaps in that "usually" usually lead to $100 markups on ebay. The moral is, in a world where nothing is what it seems, ya' never know, so if you want it, buy it now and consider selling it later.primalxconvoy wrote:It always pays to hold off on buying TFs you're not happy with, as another version will usually come out again later.
If I don't like the Mirage my Kingdom Grimlock comes with, he might just go my 3rd cousins like Netflix Hound did.

Not really. Perceptor has had two fairly "recent" CHUG offerings and I'm sure the other characters you mentioned will get new versions in the future too. In fact, at the time, they're were the TT versions that you could have got. Patience is a virtue, especially in this hobby.

That's what I was getting at, hence the "complete bull" statement. I use a Photoshop-adjacent program frequently so the colours immediately looks like a bad colourise job.

I took Galvatron II to be the Selects Galvatron to be fair. However, the fact that they are new and contained some well known stuff is why I haven't newsed it yet. I'm more intrigued about the line breakdowns but, if other leakers back them up, then I'll act on it.

- 1) There's no Beast Wars or Armada, but there's one new Prime mold... because apparently both Prime Optimus and Prime Bulkhead share a figure.
2) They also claim that all of the Insecticons are being made in SS86 over the next 0-2 years... yet only Shrapnel has had any known work done on them.
3) Blitzwing was rumoured for 2022 last year, but was later said to have been canned

Even when legit, there's no reward other than being trusted over time that you know inside info.
But it's not as if a leaker has any authority, control, decision-making power, etc. over what's being leaked. I guess it can be seen as "help"??
And when someone fakes "leaked info"... I really don't get it... The person is hiding behind a fake identity to begin with... And what's the reward when your info is proven wrong?
You misled people and possibly got someone excited about something that really isn't happening?
Cool, bro.
I hope the Insecticons are happening, whether in SS86 or not.
Also, that we end up getting the other 3 Dinobots between the end of this year and the end of 2022.

People do that because they perceive that it's hilarious to prank people on the internet. The reward is the feeling of entitlement that they tricked a bunch of people, which makes them feel intellectually superior

They are not going for anatomical accuracy, they are going for animation accuracy (and being able to transform).
That's what Dinobot's hands looked like in the show mostly:
And technically speaking that's what Velociraptor's hands have always been shown to look like in the past when the show was made:

Yes, they are as accurate to animation as they can maker them while still being able to fit ins torso.
and no, Black Arachnia never had the pedipalps in robot mode, just her spider eyes:

It doesn't pass the smell test with me. A lot of it is just repeated information, and it's not even completely accurate for the stuff we now know, like the Amazon 2-Pack with Earthmode Mirage. It was speculated early on that he would come with Beast Wars II Skywarp, but we now know that it will be Beast Wars Grimlock, per the Amazon Australia listing. The best maybe we can say is that the leaker is passing along fairly old information right now.

Some leak threads over there got merged, ZeroWolf's link no longer goes straight to the actual post they were talking about, it's now on page 714 of the thread the link leads to. BW2 Skywarp was originally given in the initial leak from this thread that got newsed here a while ago, so far BW2 Skywarp is the only figure that guy has actually gotten wrong (and could easily still exist in a different exclusive set at this point), and the new guy that ZeroWolf was referring to didn't mention BW2 Skywarp at all.Wolfman Jake wrote:ZeroWolf wrote:So came across a post else where which says something I've been musing, that the Dinobots are going to be split between two lines, with two being in the follow up to Kingdom.

Ah so that's where that tidbit came from. I was trying to follow it but had trouble keeping up with everything post merger. I'm still on the fence myself But they are now almost accepting what they say.
Also, am I the only one who thinks that sometimes Hasbro on purposely dish out some of the info through leaks just to gauge our reactions? To help them in the design of whatever line they're up to?
I think images of Kingdom's Exclusives should start turning up soon

Not really true tbh. Any depiction of a Velociraptor (or honestly many, many other species of theropod) with its hands hanging down was always anatomically incorrect, even based on the now-outdated reconstructions from the time. Velociraptors could not rotate their hands to face downwards (or pronate them, as is the technical term), it was literally anatomically impossible, and that was known at the time. Velociraptors could only hold their hands with the inside surfaces/"palm" equivalent facing each other.
ALSO: I think Dinobot's hands are shaped that way to hold the Golden Disks like in the show.

Wether the depiction was correct or not anatomically speaking is not the point. As evidenced by the pictures I posted, the raptor hands were always depicted as hanging down with long spindly fingers with claws.
Yes, the depiction was incorrect, but at the time, those were the available depictions, so the show animations went with that. You can argue mammals like the maximals alt modes would not have been on earth at the same time as dinosaurs like Megatron and Dinobot. But they still went with it. Artistic interpretation.
Dinobot was able to rotate his hands and pose in different ways in the show because he was a robot, not constrained by the anatomy of an actual raptor. But was also shown to have them hanging down like the toy many times.
It may have already been incorrect at the time, but that's the way the chose to depict them for Dinobot.
Yes, they are a tad too long in relation to the show, maybe, but I chalk that up to needing to fit in his torso. Any other pose, or size, would not have fit in the space allocated for them. Or would have left a hole there and nowhere for the side panels to "tab" into.

They've started to dish out entirely new rumours such as Fuzor Silverbolt and Inferno being in the next toyline. No one's back them up yet, so we're possibly on the verge of them going full "Wishlist" fake leak mode.
And to add more annoyances, there's yet another new hat in the ring named "Impulse Drive" who stated that there's a Selects Sureshot from Earth Mirage on the way... which kinda just sounds like snippets from assorted speculation.
I still don't trust them, especially since more trustworthy leakers have yet to corroborate any information besides the "Evolution" title (which is apparently somewhat known by non-leakers). And the "Prime Bulkhead and Optimus share the same mold" tidbit doesn't sit with me.
