Hey everyone, your patience has now been rewarded! The 2015 G.I. Joe/Transformers crossover figures are now online and ready to order from both the TCC and GIJCC Club Stores!
2015 Transformers Club Exclusive MARISSA FAIREBORN™ & AFTERBREAKER™ (1 pc).
EDC CYBERTRONIAN LIAISON
With two parents on the elite interdisciplinary G.I. JOE® team, MARISSA was an army brat through and through. Growing up, she came to appreciate the beauty and fragility of the varied environments of Earth as she bounced from base to base, continent to continent. She attended the US Air Force Academy, to her parent's twin pride and chagrin--they had been hoping for West Point--and graduated salutatorian. She qualified for the intensely competitive solo orbital flight program and was among the first wave of pilots to qualify for extra-atmospheric combat. When GENERAL CLAYTON “HAWK” ABERNATHY™ formed the EARTH DEFENSE COMMAND to proactively address the DECEPTICON® threat, she was one of the first to sign up. MARISSA is a driven officer with a keen tactical mind, who understands the importance of seizing and maintaining the initiative. She appreciates the AUTOBOTS® as allies but doesn't trust them completely.
Keeping in the theme of the Hasbro summer convention exclusive G.I. Joe® & The Transformers® crossover action figure sets released from 2011-2013, MARISSA FAIREBORN and AFTERBREAKER come carded as a cross-brand team up! MARISSA FAIREBORN is a 3 3/4” scale G.I. Joe® figure and comes with jet pack, heavy “laser” weapon, and hand-held “laser” blaster. AFTERBREAKER is a non-converting motorcycle with firing wheel projectile. Add these figures to your existing G.I. Joe® & The Transformers® collection or start the new adventures today!
2015 Transformers Club Exclusive OLD SNAKE™ & STEALTH B.A.T.sT™ (1 pc).
SEDITIOUS MASTERMIND & His STEALTH BATTLE ANDROID TROOPERS
Old Snake's first attempt to harness a strength similar to the Autobots® resulted in varied results. The hulking robot of Old Snake's creation truly did possess brute force as well as great intelligence, however, the interference from former General Clayton “Hawk” Abernathy™ and the Earth Defense Command caused the loss of any semblance of control over Serpent O.R.TM. Not willing to commit the same error again, Old Snake decided to forgo intellect in his next endeavor. Mimicking the programming from Cobra™'s prolific but now-outdated Battle Android Troopers, Old Snake upgraded the Cobra B.A.T.s™ with added size as well as the ability to disguise themselves as Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Although not quite the height of the Autobots, the lithe and agile Stealth B.A.T.sTM can maneuver in ways that most of the robots from Cybertron cannot even imagine. To further aid in espionage as well as assault operations, each Stealth B.A.T. also features a detachable bat-like Nightshriek remote unit that can access small spaces and create havoc through sabotage and data breaches.
Keeping in the theme of the Hasbro summer convention exclusive G.I. Joe® & The Transformers® crossover action figure sets released from 2011-2013, OLD SNAKE and STEALTH B.A.T.s come carded as a cross-brand team up! OLD SNAKE is a 3 3/4” scale G.I. Joe® figure and comes with his hand-held “laser” blaster and Energon cubes. The duo of STEALTH B.A.T.s are converting Transformers action figures that change from robot mode their unmanned aerial drone disguises. Add these figures to your existing G.I. Joe® & The Transformers® collection or start the new adventures today!
Marissa Faireborn & Afterbreaker are listed at $42, while Old Snake and the Stealth B.A.T.s are $79. You can find them in the Transformers Collectors' Club Store here:

I plan on getting these eventually... just not now.

Considering a single Nova Prime was $60, yeah it is comparatively cheaper.
Yeah I know the cost gets distributed due to multiple copies of the same figure and Old Snake is not as expensive to make as a Transformer, but you get what I mean...

I get ya. To be fair though, a good portion of the $60 for Nova is for that box. Leo Prime is $36. There's also no new tooling on the BATS (though the paint is rockin').

So Old Snake + 2 Deluxes for $79 undercut even my expectations for the price tag. If you're pricing them out compared to previous exclusives, it is almost as if you are getting the third figure for free. Or at least most of the 3rd figure.
^My personal opinion/commentary.

I agree with this. I expected $95-$110 range before shipping. Pleasantly surprised to come in under that even after shipping.TF_JW wrote:Carded GIJCC 4" G.I. Joe figures are $35-38. Carded Depthcharge was $40, I believe?

Ah, okay. Mine hasn't. Well, hope you gets yours soon. I guess I'll be playing the waiting game, then.

I was just talking to a friend of mine who had taken his apart and he found the problem. That rattle you hear when you shake the motorcycle? That's not a broken piece or a piece that has come loose. That's a single ball bearing that is meant as a safety feature. It's supposed to roll down an incline inside of the bike and lodge itself in the trigger mechanism so that you can't fire the wheel unexpectedly.
The solution is that you have to free that ball from its lodged position. And then pick the motorcycle up and point the front of the bike down towards the ground. I know that this seems odd given the trigger for the mechanism is the rear suspension/rotating the back wheel. Your brain WANTS the wheel to fire when you lean the bike back to do a wheelie. But... That is what rolls that ball bearing back into its lodged position. No doubt this is so kids can't accidentally fire the wheel at someone's face.
It's still not a guarantee fire each time. I've only gotten it to work three times since finding this out this afternoon. Still, it's three times more than before.
Again, shake the motorcycle until you hear the bearing come loose. Then point the front of the motorcycle down at the ground. Squeeze the rear suspension and turn the rear wheel. If the rear wheel turns with a bit of friction, it should work. If the wheel spins freely, it probably won't. Same goes for if the wheel refuses to turn - if it seizes up like that, it means the bearing has rolled back into place.

Not my pic but this should help:thundershot wrote:Ok, so I'm starting to consider getting the BATs so my TFSS Serpentor has more troops. My Prime Soundwave is buried away in a plastic bin somewhere. How tall are the BATs compared with Serpentor? I was going to have him displayed with the two BATs and the four Vipers I have.
