Wheeljack is the closest I'll ever be to owning a Lancia Stratos (my dream car) so this is pretty awesome.

Why would you assume it's fragile just because of the size? If anything, larger figures are more prone to breakage. In my experience, smaller figures are more durable.

It should be noted that this is a test shot and not the final product, but it's close, so the video will give us a good, solid idea of what to expect when the figure sees release towards the of this month. Also of note, he does not have Spike on hand, just Bumblebee.

Still not feeling this figure, somthing about it feels a little off. I dont really like the forearms, the gaps and the panels on the arms hurt the overall look, and I dont like how visible the arms are in alt mode.

Or VW wouldn't license a chibi Beetle...

Twas always Spike, never Daniel.durroth wrote:I thought it had been established that the figure that comes with bee is supposed to be Daniel, not Spike. Did they retract that? or does the official box/instructions say its spike?

Transformers: The Movie showed that Bumblebee was stationed with Spike on Moon Base Two. Daniel has always been paired up with either Hot Rod, Arcee or Wheelie.

never had to question the durability in the takara mp line? guess you never had Megatron or Rodimus prime... loose junky falling apart masterpieces oh and lets not mention soundwaves tapes

Alt mode looks pretty good but all in all nothing says masterpiece to me about this figure. It's just a properly made deluxe figure in homage to BB.
Also that Spike figure without any paint apps for the face.....that says it all right there.
This release is a huge pass for me. I know a lot of you like/love it but it really is a weak masterpiece.
I wouldn't pay more than 30 bucks for it even if i did want it.

Megatron was the only one I had problems with. Clips broke, tarnished feet. I have Rodimus V.1 and I have no real complaints with it. Soundwave's cassettes haven't been problematic, but Ratbat's mold is rather boring, I must say.
MGrotusque wrote:For me this is the most disappointing MP in the entire line. I very much dislike the bot mode but in this figures defense i've never liked G1 BB's bot mode.

I'm not going to lie...I will probably seek out the KO. I hate to say that, but as much as I want to, I can't justify this. Both figures are ridiculously small, scale aside, and Spike's a bit of a mess. I just...nah. And the US version, if we get it, will go for the same price plus I'll have to wait a year or more, no thanks.
Oh, and when I do get it, that mirror isn't going anywhere near the figure. It looks stupid, imo.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat, that's for sure.
