Agreed.
Most of the awards were spot on. She was NOT the best voice actress in a game this year.

A South Park tower defense game beat out Ghostbusters, X-Men Origins, and Chronicles of Riddick? God of War III Beat out Starcraft II, Mass Effect II and Bioshock II? This "award" show is utter garbage.
I was playing a lot of Halo with some buddies for most ot the day yesterday and all of a sudden, everyone had to sign off because they wanted to watch the awards. I tried to express the fact that the awards are about as useless as filling out an application at Wal Mart and asking for a starting wage of $50 a hour.
Just read multiple reviews of a game you're interested in, don't run out and drop sixty on a game because it won a Spike award. Think a little before you buy, granted, some of the awards given out were completely justified. Doing a reserch on a potential investment never hurts anyone.
Also, lookign through the nominees, it was the same as most other award shows. A majority of the nominees were from games released in the last couple of months. I know Spike let the fans vote, but some catagories only had three or four choices to vote on.
Spike, please just stop doing these award shows.

Megan Fox wins award for best female performance...
LMAO!!! Best oxymoron ever!
In all honesty, she doesn't bug me as much as she does others, but that "win" is all about fanservice.

Yes yes yes yes yes. Yes it did.
Your musical bias in this instance is overriding the objective fact that DJ Hero has 93 original mash-ups and they are good.
DJ Hero's music is amazing. You may not prefer that kind of sound, but it is really incredible what they did with those dual track songs.

Musical bias has got nothing to do with it. Brutal Legend has a 107 tracks of metal designed, as the developers put it, "to be loved by Metal fans."
Also, mash-up? So it's not really the original song, it's the song mixed with another song? if I want to listen to...well, okay, not a whole lot on there worth mentioning, Ace of Spades and Sabotage I guess, then I'd like to listen to those songs separately.
...Or while mowing down an army of demons. Mowing down demons is so much nicer when you have some Black Sabbath in the background.
But to each his own, I guess.

She was nominated for Best Voice, and I can honestly say I have no idea what the difference is between "Best Voice" and "Best Performance" when it come to video games. Why they need three categories for voice acting, all essentially meaning the same thing, I'll never know.
