yea, that's right.. thanks, should have gone to directing school. anyhoo,
thanks, it's a sleeve i've had for about 8 years now, so it's kinda weird explaining it to people now who really know nothing about it other than the movie they're going to see this summer..
oh well.
ya know, it's kinda like when you're favorite band sells out and get's all watered down.. i mean, it'll be an action movie that contains some themes of transformers, but simplified enough so that Thadeus P. Huckleberry will "get it" after spending 9.50 a ticket.
hmm, i don't know where all that came from..

I know what you mean. What really cheeses me off is that I'm sure there'll be a bunch of 12 year olds claiming they know all there is to know about Transformers after having seen this movie once.
And crazyfists, I like the way you think. But you know Hollywood would never have a summer without a) random action movies, b) licensed characters or c) Bruckheimer/Bay/whatever other action director people like for some reason. Oh, I also forgot d) sequels, so we know what to expect in a few years...

THAT MEANS EXTREMEEEEEEEEEE
They should have a commercial with two dudes inside of jazz in alt mode racing down L.A. when one of them opens a dew.
Jazz transform and leaves the dudes on the street. Two dudes in shock and Jazz takes the dew and says: "do the Dew"
cheesyyyyyyyyyyy as hell but... EXTREME!!!!

I'm hoping after this Bay gets a job Producing and Directing a TV series for Fox or the WB. It's worked well for Brett Ratner and McG.

Sounds mindless enough for Fox. Though I have to admit that I would probably watch a Bay TV series, as long as it was hardcore Bay, with lengthy car chases and spectacular explosions each episode. The humour writes itself!

He can go grow up. You guys go back to crying about how Bay isn't staying true to a cartoon from 1984.

And he'll sell flavored Energon.Nemesis Primal wrote:Okay, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that Bay might turn out to be a good choice on Hasbro's part, simply because, well, he's typecast for things that haven't exactly hurt the franchise in the past. Given that there's enough people around him with other ideas that will balance out some of his, and that the transformers in the movie would likely have looked "off" no matter who was directing, and frankly, I say we got lucky not pulling, say, George Lucas.
