I'll only buy the Blu-Ray one if the features are different. I own both the Target 2-disc Prime case version and the Wal-Mart 1-disc w/ "Beginnings" version. If the features on the Blu-Ray one are the same as the 2-disc DVD version, then I'll pass.

they say it'll be a 2disc so chances are it'll be the same extras because i wouldnt see them creating anything new so soon but this is a case where i could care less about extras. i already have cool extras on my dvd if i ever wanna see them again.
this is simply about owning the movie in the best picture/sound quality possible and if it was this amazing on a tv HD channel, which is only 720p i'm told, i can only imagine how beautiful it'll look at 1080.

If they do put any new footage on the blu ray release it will only be the additional human footage as I saw in the Imax version as no new robot scenes were ever done or even removed from the final cut of the first film.
It was ok and really only added about 5 minutes or so more to the film.
I heard the HD menu interface was pretty awesome and was close to buying a player and the HD version but reason set in.
I do have a copy of it in HD in my Tivo and it looked awesome but it will be interesting to see if there are any differences in blu ray.
Thanks for the news Darth Bombshell!
