Hero X has tweeted some updates on the poll that is being conducted to select the next exclusive to be released through Million Publishing's next Transformers Generations book. The poll is about to it's half way point and the current front runners: Alpha Trion, GoShooter, Beast Wars Silverbolte, and Drift Black Version.

The full list:

  • Alpha Trion using the Generations Scourge mold
  • The Fallen using the Generations FoC Onslaught mold
  • Sunstreaker Police Type using the Universe Sunstreaker mold
  • Smokescreen using the Universe Smokescreen mold
  • Autobot Drift Black Version using the Generations Drift mold
  • Omnibot Overdrive using the Universe Smokescreen mold
  • Ominbot Camshaft using the Generations Wheeljack mold
  • Omnibot Downshift using the Universe Ironhide mold
  • Beast Wars Silverbolt using the Beast Hunters Grimwing mold
  • Goshooter using the Generations Goldfire mold

Nightbeat, not Goldfire.

Though it is the same mold, the Nightbeat head is what'll be used should Goshooter be the winner.

I like the touch of the chromed gun with A3 (Homage to the Key to Vector Sigma perhaps?)

Deadlock look's sweet...but I just wish I didn't feel like I'm looking at a G1 TFA Prowl

Fallen royally suck IMHO. :roll:

Omnibots are a nice idea, but they aren't exactly...exciting looking?

Smokescreen I don't get. Really. He's not the TFP deco, he's not the Armada deco, vaguely the Alt deco, but just kinda bleh.

Goshooter would give us a Siren to Hasbro's Nightbeat!

It's a white Sunstreaker....(Seriously, if I'm gonna buy a TF that turns into an awesome supercar, I want it to be brightly colored!)

Silverbolt takes the cake out of this lot. If he's given the Million publishing deal, I might pick him up. He's a LOT cooler then the previous.

That's right. Even though there will only be one winner, all ten of these figures are canon. :-B

I'm a little confused, when you guys say "one winner" you mean that only one figure will become a reality? If someone could clear this up for me I'd be greatly appreciated :D

A little late on the alpha trion repaint. Better alternatives are coming. I already own a custom police sunstreaker. I would rather see the omnibots get new molds. The fallen already has an awesome figure from maketoys. I think silverbolt would be the best option. Only because funpub has been on a roll with beast wars figures, so why not keep em coming ?

This is a poll for the next exclusive to be included in Million Publishing's Transformers Generations 2014 Volume 2 book. Volume 1's exclusive is Shouki, while these ten are candidates to be voted upon by Japanese consumers for the Volume 2 toy.

Thus far, the top contenders in the poll are Goshooter, Metals Silverbolt, Alpha Trion, and Autobot Drift Black Ver.

But despite only one getting made, all ten of them appeared as canonical characters in one of the Volume 1 book's manga stories, so now I want all of them to get made.

Hero-X/Million Publishing has posted the results of their poll to determine their mail away exclusive, and the winner is GoShooter! See the full poll results below:

  1. Goshooter using the Generations Goldfire mold = 29.3%
  2. Alpha Trion using the Generations Scourge mold = 28.9%
  3. Beast Wars Silverbolt using the Beast Hunters Grimwing mold =14.8%
  4. Autobot Drift Black Version using the Generations Drift mold = 12.7%
  5. The Fallen using the Generations FoC Onslaught mold = 5.0%
  6. Sunstreaker Police Type using the Universe Sunstreaker mold =3.8%
  7. Smokescreen using the Universe Smokescreen mold and Omnibot Overdrive using the Universe Smokescreen mold (Tie) = 2.9%
  8. Omnibot Downshift using the Universe Ironhide mold = 1.6%

I wouldn't be surprised if at least some of the others show up in later years, especially if they continue with 2 volumes a year.

I really hope that A3 comes to pass.

I hope they come to pass, I want my Omnibots :grin:

Speaking of Omnibots, a little correction: back in G1, Camshaft's and Downshift's names were switched for Japan, and here it's the same case. JP Camshaft or US Downshift (Wheeljack mold) is in 8th place and JP Downshift or US Camshaft (Ironhide mold) is in last place.

And just for fun I decided to add the percentages: 103.1%. Note I'm counting Smokescreen and Overdrive each as 2.9% as they're tied, not together. :-?

I'd get most of those except Alpha Trion and Silverbolt. I'm curious to see how many of these we'll actually see.
