Goddamnit I just want the Voyager TLK Prime in actual Nemesis Prime colours..

Wowzer! I'm loving them all! Still wonder if Leader Prime and Jetfire will have new sounds like MB-11 Prime did.

They did really good with Hound there. The extra stuff really helps him out. I actually gave the TLK one all my AoE Hound weapons and am keeping the AoE one in alt mode. Jetfire looks pretty good too. Revenge Prime is a nope.

I am really tempted by Bee. Every TLK version of him needed that hammer. Shame this is the only one.

Strongly tempted by Nemesis too. I have yet to get any Nemesis version of Prime, and that version is killer.

wait so does revenge Prime come with jetfire as a double pack? Because if not, then his price makes no damn sense.

Also, the deco on Hound is very lackluster.

Him coming in a 2-pack with Jetfire would make even less sense, considering he has a standalone release as well.

No, the high price must partially stem from his electronics, plus the extra accessories he comes with, like the knuckles, hand-held Battle Blades, and him being a hybrid of the standard RotF Leader (chest), Jetwing/Striker (forearms) and Ulitmate Edition (hands).

That's what I was thinking.... that "Revenge Prime" looks exactly the same, has the same items (minus the face ripping hooks) and costs MORE. He has to be paired up with Jetfire....

I some of them - but I would have liked an alternative head on Jazz (for example).

I think if you want the Nicest deco it might be worth checking out some of the other lines 1st.

I likely have 10 of Jazz's Mould already - I'm really struggling to look for a reason to buy another one.

The one I use the most is the G1 colour version - that one is really spiffy - Final battle Jazz is nice too. I also like Smokescreen.

Perhaps a more creative way to have progressed would have been to make the Human Alliance one in a Battle damaged deco.

Heck just make some more Human Alliance in general - Landmine for a start and Attack Mode Topspin then Jolt, and a 1960's Bumblebee.

Jazz, Bonecrusher, Megatron, Bee, ROTF Optimus and Jetfire are all "WHY". Those figures are NOT rare and have nothing really new to offer.

Lockdown with new head? Yeah, that one is indeed nice.

New part to "complete" Hound's vehicle mode? BRILLIANT! Too bad his paint job is so... plain...

And finally, dat Nemesis Prime... DAMN he's so tempting. Having gotten rid of all of my AoE Leader Optimuses, including AD-31, I am really tempted by this one. The ugly-ass backpack is no more, plus he have SOMETHING NEW to offer with that swell and unique deco. Let's hope the price will be somewhat reasonable.

The same reason they keep releasing MP-10 and jacking up his price every time. Because if you didn't buy it last time, then you'll pay whatever they demand to get it this time.

Nope, although I did hodgepodge one together on my AOE Bumblebee with the plasma cannon he came with and some mechanical pencil clips. Actually looks pretty good!

He's screen accurate. Why's that so hard to understand? I'm glad it's like that and not the other way around. If it's not to your liking, go but AOE Black Knight Prime. He ain't expensive either.

With all this MB talk, I decided to go back to my MB 11 and noticed something odd. His left elbow has a ratcheted joint while his right does not. is that the same with anyone else?

I have three wishes if we ever get another wave of MB figures.
1:Voyager HFTD The Fallen. Would be cool to have a screen accurate version of this guy who isn't a weird blue color

2:Voyager AOE Galvatron. Would look great in silver, and a pretty good figure considering how he 'transformed' in the film

3:Deluxe TLK Barricade. I want him to be closer shade of blue to the one he was in the film, a new headsculpt would also be appreciated.

Probably an unpopular opinion with the first two choices, but if bloody Bonecrusher can get an MB figure then by Primus I want my shiny Galvatron!

The most notable differences are in the hands, and a newly sculpted head which improves articulation and better represents his appearance in the film...you can also violently rip off his face. He also has a command staff that previous versions of the figure lacked.

Totally on board with your Barricade idea. If he had the same cool head design as he did in the movie I'd have picked up the deluxe a long time ago.

So I pre-ordered Nemesis. He looks so sick, and I wanted to make sure that I had a pre-order. I can always cancel, but he looks so goooooooooooooooood

Judging by the hinges and lines on the hammer for Bumblebee, I'd say it stores in his vehicle mode, which is awesome!

All awful puns aside, I think I'm still going to buy this one. I'll paint the Hasbro one I'm getting this week and keep the hammer one in perfect shape.

Mistakes can happen but made things right on improving this guy swapping heads. I will add him to the few Bayformers that I own. I can care less for the back scratcher they gave him. I suppose I could find other use and if not into the trash it will be tossed like most movie TF should.

Calling it now, I bet we're going to get a Nitro Zeus from this line with his proper Shockwave head.

Because in TLK, Nitro Zeus' head is taken exactly from DotM Shockwave's model. Bee's not saying they want Nitro Zeus as a Shockwave, but that they want a Nitro Zeus more accurate to his in-fiction appearance

In spite of having 32 Voyager Grimlocks already.... I do still want this one. He looks perfect, so whats his problem? He's got no backup. There isn't a perfect deco'd Slag, Sludge, Swoop, or Scorn. However there are full(ish) teams, which look great, but aren't perfectly deco'd. Ugh... the struggles...

I'm really torn... I don't want to wait and spend $40 on a deluxe Bee, but this one has the hammer, and that is awesome and necessary to go with Nemesis Prime

It's kind of a tough call, but I think I am going to get this MB version instead of the Hasbro one. The paint apps still aren't perfect, but they're certainly better than the Hasbro version. I'm really glad they added black paint to the vents on the sides of the Camaro, because there's no way I would've been able to paint them myself without messing up. The shade of yellow plastic appears to be more movie accurate, and there seems to be a slight angle to his arm with the plasma cannon in the one picture, so they might have fixed the problem the original had and make his plasma cannon work on his right arm. Of course, the hammer really does it for me, since I was planning on picking up a third party one anyways. I'm really not fond of paying that much for a deluxe, but I'm OK with buying just this figure.

Although that also means I won't be getting a deluxe Bumblebee for TLK until around 10 months after the figures first got released in the US

Another thing I have thought about a lot. Waiting that long.. for Nemesis it is alright, but for my Bumblebee? Eh. Though I did get the MP hammer, but are they planning to make one for the deluxe? can they? (I forget what kind of hands it has)

Yep! Although it shows it with the wave 1 Bee, it should work with the new one.

That's because Dragon's first language is not English for sure and he must be using Google Translate with mixed results.

Still in a way, he was kinda right. If ye can afford to have toy collecting as a hobby, we logically don't struggle to eat and pay the bills. (If you do struggle, set your priorities straight).

So when I "don't have money" for a figure, it's either because it don't interest me enough for the asking price, or I already blown my extra money of the month.
(Not counting life's usual roadblocks in the form of unexpected bills like healthcare or general catastrophe).

All that to say is do I "have money" or don't for that Nemesis Prime? Because I got rid of my AoE Leader Optimus and Even my AD-31 Optimus. Sure, that mold have the backpack improved, but will I regret the 100$+ I may pay for it?

-G1 Ironhide and Ratchet got no heads (yes, I'm fully aware of their Diaclone heritage)
-Gold Plastic Syndrome victims
-TFP Airachnid and her cheaper than RID line attributes
-Universe Ironhide and Galvatron are inexcusably panel-heavy or overly complex.
-Many Generations Leaders starting with Jetfire are simpler than they need to be (also no electronics makes the price even less acceptable)
-Beast Machines inaccuracies ahold
-Most Masterpieces after Magnus v.2 look naked next to their slightly more detailed cousins (like MP-10 or Prowl)
-Many Post-T30 toys get too devoted to being slavishly toy accurate unlike the Classics, Universe, and 2010-2014 Generations lines
-FOC figures are a downgrade from the WFC figures


While there are movie toys that I don't like (such as the one steps or Blazemaster), I heavily disagree with the comparison (almost sounds like favoritism to some extent).

Disregard the bay haters who come here only to take a dump on the designs. It's like a news article featuring cake and I drop in the comments only to say "I HATE CAKE". It's completely pointless and make the hater look like a douche with too much spare time.
